Why is America Suffering?

As hurricane Irma looms closer, we cannot help but ask, "Why? Why is our country getting hit with these devastating storms?"

J. D. Farag in a recent Youtube video--Special Prophecy Update Sep 3, 2017 --explains that the United States has suffered severe weather due to its efforts to divide Israel by way of giving up land for peace. From October 1991 to July 2017 there have been 126 catastrophes related to this that cannot be mere coincidences.

In his search to understand more about this, J.D. contacted William Koenig, author of Eye to Eye--Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel. This is what Mr. Koenig had to say about hurricane Harvey:

"...The timing of White House Senior Advisor Jared Kushner, Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt, and Deputy National Security Advisor Dina Powell meetings in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Jordan, Egypt and Israel and the rapid reformation of Harvey when it looked like it was finished as a tropical threat was awe-inspiring.
On Wednesday, August 23, the day that Kushner, Greenblatt and Powell arrived in Jerusalem after three and a half days of nonactivity, Harvey quickly became a tropical storm and within 48 hours a major record-setting category 4 hurricane. Much of Jared Kushner and his team's schedule the weekend of August 20-24 ... were somewhat secretive. I had to review some of the Arab news websites to establish the schedule.
The bottom line, Kushner's week was focused on the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. It was a serious effort on behalf of President Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, hurricane Harvey became a major record-setting category 4 hurricane that pummeled southern Texas Friday, August 25, and into the wee hours on Saturday morning ..."

J.D. went on to report that newscasters have called Harvey a once-in-500-years storm. Fox News called it a once-in-1000-years storm; and even others are saying it is an unprecedented storm such as we have never seen the likes of before in human history.

At about the 22 minute mark, brother J.D. quotes from a Breaking Israel News August 31, 2017, article--Hurricane Katrina, Harvey, and the Israeli-Palestinian Peace Process:

No sooner than the Trump trio, of White House Senior Adviser Jared Kushner, Special Envoy Jason Greenblatt and Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategy Dina Habib Powell (born in Egypt and living in Texas), came to the Middle East, meeting with Israeli and Palestinian officials, then shuttling to meetings with leaders of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Jordan, to try and restart the Israeli-Palestinian “Peace Process,” Hurricane Harvey began to hit Texas, with its G-D given power of destruction.
In my September 2005 article, “Israel to America, I Warned You…” I wrote, “Well, it’s begun; less than a week after the Israeli army expelled thousands of Jews from their homes in Gaza and Northern Samaria, uprooting 25 communities, American troops were “evacuating” people from their homes in Louisiana and Mississippi. The greatest “natural” disaster has happened in American history. The Hand of G-D is written all over this one.”

Still in the throes of the Harvey catastrophe, America is facing Irma--a horrific storm we have yet to know for certain where it will track!

Speak to the Storm
This is NOT to say that we as Sons and Daughters of the Most High God do not have authority over the effects of severe weather in our own lives! In the midst of God's judgment remember that He has not appointed us to His retribution

If the Spirit of the Lord tells you to get out of your city then go! But if for some reason you end up in a predicament, speak to the storm Mark 4:35-41 and command it to dissipate in the name of Jesus Christ!

Friends of mine in Florida during hurricane Matthew evacuated their home which was in an area hit head-on by that storm. Friends and family interceded on their behalf for their safety as well as the safety of their abandoned home. I even added to my prayer, "and let their electricity be on when they return home". When they were able to go back, they found their home had not been damaged and their electricity was working!

Another inspiring true story of our authority over the earth and its atmosphere is when Henry Gruver (who has prayer walked in over 48 countries) went to Japan in 2012 after the deadly tsunami caused the Fukishima nuclear disaster: Spiritual Separation of the Sheep from the Goats. God has worked through Henry to do many miracles.

Another related story is The Dragonfly Miracle:

Henry was scheduled to speak in Taiwan. The southern part of Taiwan was being plagued by deadly mosquitoes. One mosquito bite and people would go into a painful high fever for four days and then die. Hundreds were dying every day.

He went to southern Taiwan, looked out on a field and had a vision of one dragonfly. His father had told him to never kill a dragonfly because they eat mosquitoes.

Henry prayed for clouds of dragonflies. Suddenly he and his entourage saw millions of dragonflies appear in front of them.

Take courage! We serve a merciful God who will save lives and the very spirits of unsaved individuals even in the midst of disaster!

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. - 2 Peter 3:9 KJV

Are You Ready For This?

Up to this point, my blog posts have been pretty light-hearted. (Well, not counting the last one, of course:). I believe our Heavenly Father does not want our minds to be bogged down with worry, fear, and doubt, which is all a form of unbelief. In fact, Hebrews 3:12-19 severely warns God's people against unbelief.

According to Ecclesiastes, though, there IS a time for sorrow. There IS a time for war.

To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven…
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance…
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. - Ecc 3:1, 4, and 8 KJV

Remember what I posted at the beginning of the year:

Lately, what is impressed within me is that it is going to be “the best of times and the worst of times”. By this I believe the Holy Spirit is saying that we will see God move mightily in what will be tremulous times in the world. In the midst of great trouble we will witness the greatest harvest of souls for the Lord Jesus Christ that any human has ever seen along with signs, miracles, and wonders. [1/1/11 His Grace Is Enough]
Are you ready for this?

“How can I be ready?” you ask.

This requires a two-part answer, for as believers in Christ we are physical and spiritual beings.

Spiritually, we must prepare ourselves by spending time simply being quiet before the Lord of Heaven—seeking His face. I cannot emphasize this enough (to you AND to myself)! This includes searching the scriptures.

There in the inner chamber, I have asked Him this question myself—“Is there anything You need to reveal to me regarding preparation for what is ahead?”

This is what I believe He replied: “No. I will speak to you as you seek Me each day. Just as the children of Israel sought Me for manna each day in the desert, so shall you seek Me.”

As I have shared here in this blog, I have seen miracles in my own life. I also have been honored to minister to people in the miraculous. Perhaps the Lord would have me tell more about that in a future post.

Although I have never seen manna appear, I believe God has done this for His people. My point is that we are coming into a season of miracles! In the midst of this dark time, our God will sweep the earth with His glory and power. Those who trust in Him will daily receive resources and supplies from unexpected sources—even manifesting miraculously.

If this is true, should we physically prepare for a catastrophic event? I believe God has called individuals and ministries to be ready to serve in some capacity.

It is wisdom to have some food and water stored for an emergency, but I do not believe it is possible to be fully prepared in the physical realm for this type of thing. Just as Israel in their dire need had to trust in their Heavenly Father to care for them in the wilderness, we will be in a position where we must rely on Him.
And hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror [awe-inspiring spectacle or deed]. Jer 32:21 KJV

Disaster is what it is going to take for many to come to Christ! It is also what will cause some to doubt who they are in Christ Jesus, but don't be counted among them.

When a crisis strikes, don’t fear—only believe! Believe He is willing and able to do miracles in the very dust and smoke of devastation as you walk out in authority. As in Acts Chapter 2, let us proclaim the name of Jesus Christ to speak life where there is death, healing where there is wounding, and hope where there is despair!

I am persuaded that nothing will separate us from the love of God (Rom 8:39)~
