That's What I Want For Christmas

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. Ps. 2:12
You know what it's like to get a song stuck in your head, right? Especially around the holiday season when you hear those familiar tunes playing all around you. But have you ever had a song stuck in your head that the Spirit of the Lord put there?

I believe that's what happened to me. Yes, I was listening to Christmas music recently and heard an old tune called, 'That's What I Want for Christmas'. The thing is, yesterday when I was singing the refrain (that's what kept repeating in my head), "Love me! Love me! That's what I want for Christmas"...the Lord spoke to my spirit.

He said, "That is what I want for Christmas."

Listen to this song and picture Him singing this to you...

When you said yesterday
That it's nearly Christmas
What did I want And I thought
Just love Me, love Me, love Me
That's what I want For Christmas

When I walk through a room

Let them see you need Me
Walk through a room
Let them see you love Me
Love Me, love Me
That's what I want for Christmas

Anyone can wish for all the trinkets in the window
Some can even buy the things they see
But the present that I want
You'll never find in any window
Bring Me love and bring it just for Me

When you come home at night

Take Me in your arms and hold Me
And kiss Me And say you love Me
Love Me, oh love Me
That's what I want for Christmas

Hold Me Kiss Me
That's what I want for Christmas

The Year of the Blood Moons

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years. Gen 1:14

We have entered a very significant year on the Lord's calendar.

This Hebrew year 5775 (which began on the Gregorian calendar in September 2014 and ends in September 2015) is known as a Shemitah year. According to the Scriptures (Leviticus 25; Deuteronomy 15:1-2), a Shemitah year occurred every 7th year and was called a Sabbatical Year when all outstanding debts were waived, the land rested from being farmed, and "the nation collectively took a breather and focused on higher, more spiritual pursuits." [Source:]

Why is this Shemitah year more significant than past ones? Because three of a tetrad--a series of four--blood moons will occur. The first of the tetrad occurred on Passover and the next three are to ALSO OCCUR ON FEAST DAYS.

The following 20-minute videos will explain the weightiness of these events more fully:

My White Bird Dream

Night visions are not the usual way I hear from my Heavenly Father. In fact, I seldom dream. Or maybe it is that I dream but do not remember when I awaken. This dream, however, I will never forget. It was the most intimate and powerful dream I have experienced and I never planned to share it, but the sweet Spirit leads me to do so...

Over seven months ago I dreamt of going to a place or rather it seemed I went with one of my children to this place. It was vague who I was with, but we were going there (as it became evident to me in the vision) to bring home a beautiful white bird.

It wasn't long before we spotted her. The pure snowy-white dove sat on a low-lying branch amongst some greenery and looked at me as though she had been waiting expectantly. I motioned to her to come by patting my left shoulder. I was exhilarated as she flew to me without hesitation and tucked her head close to my neck. I wanted to keep her safe there and she trusted me fully and I fell in love with her and she with me. In fact, when we first looked into each other's eyes I knew that she already loved me. Our love was powerful.

We went everywhere together it seemed. My dream was vague as to where and what I did but there were times when I went to look for my dove as though I had gone places without her. I wondered how I should take care of her--was she eating; did she need water?

Always she would fly to me when I sought her. Then one day I looked for her and my youngest grandson came up to me so I asked him about my bird.

"She bathed herself and went into my tent to rest and there I found her dead," he explained in his childlike matter-of-fact way. I looked inside the old-fashioned canvas tent he had set up outside but could not find her body. She was gone.

I awoke and as I laid in the dark thinking on the vision, I began to weep deep sorrowful sobs of loss. I knew the beautiful white bird represented the sweet Holy Spirit.

"Lord, I do not wish to grieve your Holy Spirit. Sweet Spirit, I love you! Lord, do not take Your Spirit away! Do not let me forget to love Your Spirit and cherish her! Forgive me for neglecting the Spirit and help me," I prayed with a desperate torn heart.

Ephesians 4:30 states "And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption." It is not that God would ever forsake us, but it is possible to grieve the Spirit of God.

As I thought on the dream the following day I remembered another part of it where a man had talked with me about special food for his bird. This made me realize I did not really know how to care for my dove and I wept and prayed anew.

I do not understand all spiritual things, but I realize now more than ever how real the personage of the Holy Spirit is. He came to me when I invited Him and came with instant unconditional love for me. All He asks is that I give loving attention in return.

It was 3:44 A.M. when I awoke from that night vision--the morning of my son Jonah's birthday. The name Jonah means "dove" (see Strong's Concordance H-3124).

In the following days my time was filled with my retail job, but each day I prayed for the sweet Spirit to be with me and to help me. I did not feel  more spiritual and as it was the busy holiday season my time was more and more absorbed in work at the store and at home. On the fifth day after having the dream (I just remembered the number five represents grace), my husband Tom said to me as he drove me to work, "I was amazed to see a large white dove sitting on our roof this morning--the largest one I've ever seen." Grey doves are common in our region, but not white doves.

I couldn't tell Tom of my dream--it wasn't time. But my heart rejoiced that God sent the wonderful symbol of His love to our home.

Holy Spirit, You are welcome!

My usage of both male and female pronouns when referring to the dove or Holy Spirit is not to cause confusion or insinuate that the Spirit is male or female. Although ruach, the Hebrew word for spirit, is in the feminine gender [BLB], there is no gender in the spirit realm [Galatians 3:28].

The Wave of Glory and the Paradigm Shift

A huge paradigm shift is coming – both to the Church and the world!
We are entering a season of the biggest mind-bending paradigm shifts that humanity and Believers have ever experienced. Along with this will come another huge harvest! This season we are now entering is a season of accelerated revelation! It's also a season to press in for the next move of God!

This coming move of God is meant to be a tsunami wave of God's glory that will start in the Church and then, like a forest fire, jump the fence and start to reach the lost in every nook and cranny of the earth. [Excerpt taken from A Huge Paradigm Shift is Coming!]

Many prophetic words have come forth in the last few weeks from diverse sources but all of which ring with a sense of urgency and anticipation. David Herzog's use of the phrase "tsunami wave of God's glory" led me to take the time to post this for all who have ears to hear. [For related posts go to The Coming Wave of Glory II]

The other day I walked out to the back deck and realized a gentle rain had fallen in the night. I began worshipping and thanking my Heavenly Father for watering the gardens for me since my time and energy is mostly tapped by my retail job.

My worship flowed into singing. "Bells are ringing for me and my gal," I began but then had to hum part of the tune because the old lyrics escaped me. Finally I belted out, "Everybody is knowing to a wedding they're going!" [See For Me and My Gal if you want the rest of the lyrics.]

We may be going to a wedding with our Holy Bridegroom sooner than we realize!

Bells are ringing for this gal!

The Flood is Coming

Hollywood is calling 2014 "The year of the Bible" [Charisma News ]. Their reason is because of all the movies coming out  based on stories in the Bible, but I believe it is deeper than that.

Noah the movie comes out tomorrow, March 28. If you tweet 'The flood is coming' you have a chance to win tickets.

If you have read any of my other blog articles, you know I believe a flood of glory is to come upon the earth [see The Coming Wave of Glory]. Along with that will be a wave of human consequences as well.

The flood IS coming. Mankind has a choice to enter the ark of salvation--Yashua Ha Moschiach, our Jesus--or perish.

Breaking the Chain of Fear

1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment.
One of the joys of my childhood in the Great North was playing in the ever-present wintertime snow. I remember a day when my brothers and sisters and I were sliding down the great mounds of plowed snow in my uncle's farmyard along with our cousins. We were yelling and screaming as kids always do, but it turned into shrieks of terror when their vicious dog broke its chain and ran to where we were playing and began to attack us. I shrieked the loudest and attempted to escape by climbing the makeshift hill but he grabbed a hold of my heel and dragged me down. Fortunately my boots and heavy clothing kept me from any physical harm, but my soul had been scarred for life with fear.

Far from my mind was this memory when my husband Tom and I took a brisk walk in our neighborhood on a recent spring-like day. "Look at that sky," I sighed. Great swaths of pure white vaporous clouds wispily curtained the pale azure vault. The sight gave rise to worship within my heart and I thanked God for the beauty of the day. Love poured over and through me deeper than the warmth of the sun. Suddenly the pleasure of the moment was disrupted as a large white dog came running towards us barking a warning.

"Oh, no," I said as the adrenaline rush of fear tried to rise up in me. My husband was between the oncoming animal and me. We continued to walk hoping the dog would lose interest, but he didn't.
"His hackles are up," Tom said, his voice lowered. But within the flash of that moment the dear Holy Spirit came with guidance and I began to sing softly in tongues. I looked heavenward as we continued to walk and the Holy Presence poured over and through me once again. Immediately, the dog stopped barking and began to sniff the ground at a nearby mailbox losing all interest in us.

Then I remembered how by the Spirit I escaped being brutally mauled by an attack dog when Tom and I and our then two children lived in a mobile home park. I was walking to a neighbor's trailer when I heard a growl behind me. The Holy Spirit inspired me to whistle a tune as I continued to walk. As the beast closed in, I turned towards it and with pointed finger commanded, "In the name of Jesus Christ return to your home and do not come back out." I watched with amazement (and knees knocking) as that trained attack dog did exactly as I spoke.

THANK YOU LORD JESUS, OUR YAHSHUA HA MOSHIACH, for sending us the oh so precious Holy Spirit. Only through Him are we able to overcome the things of the world! Only by the blood of the Lamb came the gift of Holy Spirit. And only by the immeasurable love of our Heavenly Father came the Son.
