The Christmas Star and the Rapture

 

Most Biblical scholars teach that the star that led the magi to Jesus was an astronomical event. (For example, the work on The Star of Bethlehem presented by Frederick Larson.) I believe there was indeed a sign in the heavens involving the planets and the King star Regulus announcing the birth of the Messiah, but in recent years I’ve been led to look deeper into what was the Christmas Star and believe it was a separate event from the great conjunction.

 

What renewed my interest in the Star was a prophesy through Brandon Dawson of the Tribe of Christians Ministry which I shared in THE ROAR, THE TRUMP, AND THE RETURN OF THE STAR:

 

Brandon described how on September 25, 2023, he was caught up in the Spirit and witnessed events in Heaven that surrounded the time of the Rapture and the start of the Tribulation.

He tells how he was taken to Jerusalem and was shown a Star. At the 5:27 minute mark he says,

“It all began with

a sign that emerged in the skies. It was

a star that appeared similar to the time

of the birth of Jesus and the entire

world was shaken at the emergence of the

star. Every single major world religion

looked to the star and they received it

as a sign of the coming Messiah and all

this began in Jerusalem. . .”

Because his experience was not in linear time, but Eternal time, it’s unclear whether this Star appears before or after the Rapture. . .

 

In The Sceptre Star and the Revelation 12 Birth of the Man Child I shared the many prophecies of a star-like comet plummeting to earth on the day of the Rapture. But could the Christmas Star be a comet or a conjunction of heavenly bodies?

 

I've come across more research based on people asking themselves some basic questions--like how could a natural astronomical body pinpoint a particular place as the Christmas Star did for the magi in Matthew 2:9—

 

When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. - Matthew 2:9 KJV

 

This is not possible for a natural astronomical body—to stand over one specific home. While outside my house on December 21, 2020, gazing up at what the world was calling “another Bethlehem Star”, I was able to clearly view the conjunction overhead as it was a beautiful starry night. But I noticed that as I walked up the hill of my driveway the brilliant planets first appeared over the farmhouse next door then they seemed to stand over a different house when I got to the top of the driveway. So how could the Bethlehem Star stand over where Jesus was?

Here’s an excerpt from an article by Dr. Danny R. Faulkner (An Evaluation of The Star of Bethlehem DVD) that explains further:

 

If the star of Bethlehem was not a planetary alignment and conjunction with a star, then what was it? The only record we have of the star is Matthew 2. . .

The Matthew 2 text suggests that the star wasn’t always visible to the magi, nor was it necessarily visible to others. This suggests that the star may have been a localized object specifically fashioned as a message to the magi. This supernatural object would not be bound by the motions of objects normally found in the sky, and thus its odd behavior, such as appearing over where Jesus was, is easy to explain. In short, the star of Bethlehem likely was a unique and miraculous local apparition to fulfill God’s purpose and one of the ordained purposes for stars to be for signs as in Genesis 1:14. This is not unusual, for the Lord used the Shekinah glory to guide Israel in the wilderness.

 

In the video Christmas Special 2022 - Derek Walker explains why he believes the Star of Bethlehem was actually the GLORY OF GOD RETURNING TO ISRAEL. You will want to begin at the 12:17-minute mark for this which includes a moving account of why the newborn Jesus being placed in a manger was a sign to the shepherds (Luke 2:12). Derek points out how stars normally move east to west HOWEVER this star moved west to east!

 

In Matthew 2 we read of the magi making their journey but the glorious star has disappeared by now. Once they arrive in Jerusalem and meet with Herod the star reappears. This is why they rejoiced!

 

When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. - Matthew 2:9-10 KJV

 

This is no ordinary star or conjunction of planets! It leads them directly to where the young child was (Matthew 2:9). Derek Walker came to the same conclusion Danny Faulkner (and others) have—the Christmas Star was an angelic or some other type of supernatural manifestation of the glory of God!

 

As I wrote in THE ROAR, THE TRUMP, AND THE RETURN OF THE STAR what transpires in Israel—especially Jerusalem—is the key to when the Star will reappear. If the first Christmas Star was the manifest presence of God’s glory perhaps the Star will be brilliantly displayed once again as the Dispensation of Grace ends and the Visitation of God by way of His Wrath begins. The Wrath or 7-year Tribulation is also called Jacob’s Trouble for this is when God will turn His attention once again to Jacob/Israel to lead them into salvation. So the Tribulation will be experienced by the natural born Israelites who have not yet accepted Yahshua, our Jesus, as their Messiah:

 

This period of time will be Israel's most trying time ever... There shall be great tribulation in Israel such as never was since there was a nation (Daniel 12:1). It will also be a time when G-d will ultimately judge sin and all the nations on the earth. Through it, the nation of Israel will be physically saved from total destruction by G-d, and will, as a nation, accept Yeshua as the Messiah. “I pray that we see another Hannukah miracle here in the UN.”

The world is on the precipice of Jacob’s Trouble beginning as witnessed by the December 12, 2023, United Nations General Assembly vote to demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

 

“In the short term, a ceasefire is an essential precondition for urgently stabilising the humanitarian situation in Gaza. To ensure the basic safety and needs of the civilian population, especially women and children in Gaza in the longer term, consultations and preparations must now be launched towards the deployment of an international protective presence in the entire Occupied Palestinian Territory under the supervision of the UN,” the experts said. Source: UN experts urge States to unite for peace and push for ceasefire in Gaza 08 December 2023

 

Take note of the language directed against Israel used here just days before the vote: “. . . preparations must now be launched towards the deployment of an international protective presence in the entire Occupied Palestinian Territory under the supervision of the UN”. The nations are DEMANDING that Israel abandon land that is Scripturally their inheritance.

 

“The people of Gaza are looking into the abyss.  The international community must do everything possible to end their ordeal,” he said, urging the Security Council to push for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire, the protection of civilians and the urgent delivery of life-saving aid.  At the same time, he added, the international community must not lose sight of the only viable possibility for a peaceful future — a two-State solution. “This is vital for Israelis, Palestinians and for international peace and security,” he said. ANTÓNIO GUTERRES, Secretary-General of the United Nations

 

For the sake of any new readers, let me reiterate—Israel is the key to the Rapture Door.

 

Since the UN General Assembly voted to demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza on Tuesday and the Biden administration is pressuring Israel with a 2023 deadline to end the conflict, will God allow the nations to force a peace agreement this winter which will inevitably divide Israel further including the Holy City of Jerusalem?

 

If so, a series of events will ensue and the Resurrection and Rapture of the True Church will result as sudden destruction comes upon the nations! Either a comet or the miraculous Star of Bethlehem will appear (or both) and all will be in wonder and awe. The religious realm will believe it is a sign that their Messiah or Mahdi is coming when in reality the greatest trouble ever seen with a capital “T” as in Jacob’s Trouble will befall the world. 

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. - Matthew 24:21 KJV

 

December 13 began the Hebrew month of Tevet. Jarrett at Supernatural By Design explained in WE ARE FINALLY HERE!!! The Season of the Esther Rapture! how currently the Book of Esther is being played out once again and that Esther was given a 7-day wedding feast during the month of Tevet—a magnificent prophetic parallel to the Wedding Feast of the Heavenly Bride to her Lord and King Jesus Christ!

 

When the King extended his sceptre to Esther it was to show his favor and resulted in him granting her wish. Could it be that on the Day of the Rapture, a Comet or Sceptre Star, will be extended toward us, the Bride, thus granting our greatest desire--to be with our KING forever!

Lo, He Comes!

All I could do was weep as I entered the Lord’s presence recently. David in Psalm 119:20 gives an apt description of my state of mind—“My soul is consumed with longing. . .” My very being—body, soul, and spirit—longed for Him. “When, dear Jesus, when will You come for us?” was my heart’s cry. This is the yearning of the Bride of Christ—the Man Child—the True Church.

 

My Soul Longs for You

It was this time of year—the Season of Lights or the Feast of Dedication better known as Hanukkah—when Yahshua, our Jesus, spoke of us, His “other sheep”:

 

I am the good shepherd, and know my [sheep], and am known of mine. -As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. - And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, [and] one shepherd. - John 10:14-16 KJV

 

And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. -And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. - John 10:22-23 KJV

 

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand. - John 10:28 KJV

 

The word bring in John 10:16 is translated from agō which means “to lead by accompanying to (into) a place”. Then a few chapters later Jesus speaks of the Place where He will bring us:

 

In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also. - John 14:2-3 KJV

 

Jesus promises to come back and receive us unto Himself. Receive is from paralambano and can be used to mean “to join to one's self [as a] companion”. The first time this Greek word is used is referring to the union of Joseph and Mary:

 

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take[G3880] unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. - Matthew 1:20 KJV

Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took[G3880] unto him his wife: - Matthew 1:24 KJV

 

Birthing and Hanukkah

 

There is much expectation of a Hanukkah Rapture this year. This is understandable for there is even a connection to birthing with this festival! When I was a young mother I had a book by Zola Levitt titled The Seven Feasts of Israel paralleling the seven feasts of the Messiah with the stages of human gestation.

 

Although Chanukah (or Hanukkah) is not one of the seven appointed feasts, Zola makes this remarkable statement related to it:

 

“… If we go all the way into … a full-term pregnancy, we land on the 25th day of the month Kislev. We now have 10 Jewish months of 28 days, or 280 days, which is a full-term pregnancy, and that day is Chanukah, the Feast of Rededication, or new life; and that is the birth day.” shalomministry.com

It’s All About Israel

The Rapture and WW3

 

According to many dreams and visions the Day of Our Departure is associated with nuclear world war. It is possible this third world war is not the Ezekiel 38 war but that it is interconnected—a war within a War so to speak. Has World War 3 already begun? I was of the opinion that a nuclear attack on America would mark the beginning of the next world war. Then I watched Jarrett’s video at Supernatural By Design and remembered, It’s All About Israel.

 

Jarrett brings to life how Israel is our timepiece in the countdown to our last days or hours on earth as he explains the October 7 attack on Israel marks the beginning of World War 3 (WW3) which will result in the soon Rapture.

He demonstrates through a pattern of celestial signs that we are in the time frame of the Rapture: "If Venus is in the constellation Taurus at the moment of a solar eclipse, then three calendar years later when Venus is entering into Leo, war breaks out."

 

Starting at 6:50 minutes into the video Jarrett gives a 4th historical example. On May 31, 67 AD, a solar eclipse occurred and Venus was in the constellation of Taurus. Three years later Venus was in Leo when war broke out and the 2nd Temple was destroyed! With this 4^th example in the historical and celestial pattern and the result of WW1 and WW2 being the establishment of Israel as a nation, then WW3 will result in the establishment of the 3rd Temple. 

 

Our Brother in Christ concludes that this WW3 scenario may be slow moving but it's going to increase and specifically that Russia and China will take out America thus removing the protection over Israel and opening the flood gates for Ezekiel 38 and somewhere in there the rebuilding of the Third Temple.

Neither will I hide my face any more from them. . . said the Lord GOD. Ezekiel 39:29 AKJV

What is God Waiting For?

 

It seems the Spirit is saying to the Church that God is not going to allow full-fledged nuclear world war. . . yet. In October 14 & 22, 2023 Israel Prophecy Dr. Patricia Green prophesied "The plan is to cause this war to become a war of many nations but I will stop this and not permit it. . . Israel will have great victory over the Hamas." (Also see the prophetic word given by The Kindling in my article The Two-State Solution then the Birth of the Man Child? )

 

But what is God waiting for? 

 

Like Jarrett, I admit I do not have all the details figured out. Perhaps God is waiting for the Great Shaking His prophets have been foretelling to bring in the Last Harvest before the Rapture. 

 

The Great Shaking is likely associated with the Two-State Solution which I believe will be implemented pre-Rapture then (according to Daniel 9:27) be confirmed post-Rapture by “the prince of the people” (or the “little horn” better known as the Antichrist according to this commentary). This covenant will most likely allow for the rebuilding of the 3rd Temple.

 

And he shall confirm[gāḇar] the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. - Daniel 9:27 KJV

 

Gāḇar refers to confirming or strengthening something that already exists as in the waters that prevailed in the flood:

 

And the waters prevailed,[gāḇar] and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters. - Genesis 7:18 KJV

 

The waters were already there but increased. Therefore, it is my understanding that Daniel 9:27 means the Antichrist strengthens or makes more firm an already agreed upon covenant.

 

I believe the covenant that will already be in place is an agreement incorporating the Two-State Solution. Last year in The Birth and the Star I wrote about how Jarrett at Supernatural By Design showed the celestial and historical pattern pointing to the rise of the Antichrist in 2023! And since we are in the season associated with an Antichrist type (Antiochus Epiphanes and Hanukkah), we could very well see this come to pass as Lisa Boyce, Watchwoman 65, recently reported. Referring to a CBN News report, she shared that U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken gave Israel "weeks" to finish the job of destroying Hamas and again pushed the Two-State Solution.

In a video posted last night Lisa reported that United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterras has invoked Article 99:

 

UN chief makes a rare move to formally warn Security Council of global danger from Israel's war on Gaza, invoking an article that has not been used for decades.

 

The UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has struck a rare and powerful alarm bell in a letter to the Security Council warning that he expects public order "to completely break down soon" in besieged Gaza.

 

The comments came in a letter written by Guterres on Wednesday invoking Article 99 of the UN's charter, which states that "the Secretary-General may bring to the attention of the Security Council any matter which in his opinion may threaten the maintenance of international peace and security." For the sake of “international peace and security” the UN is demanding a ceasefire in the Middle East. Can the forcing of the Two-State Solution be far behind?

 

Four being the number for the WORLD, Jarrett's 4 historical examples of WORLD events matching God's celestial 'if-then' pattern strongly supports the end of the WORLD as we know it—not the end of the existence of Earth, but the Earth and world will be drastically upended. The Bride of Christ will only experience the TRANSITIONAL SHAKING as the world quickly transitions from the Dispensation of Grace to the Tribulation.

 

In describing his most recent video WE ARE FINALLY HERE!!! The Season of the Esther Rapture! Jarrett writes, “In this video "We Are Finally Here" we will continue the theme outlined in God's celestial signs pointing to the story of Esther as a prophetic outline for end-time events and including the rapture. To that point, why 2023 is still a wonderful candidate for the rapture!!”

 

Whether the October 7 attack on Israel is akin to "the shot heard 'round the world" marking the beginning of WW3 or not, it is of great prophetic significance! Greg Lauer correctly refers to it as the puff of smoke from the Harpazo Express Train coming within view! Are the tears of longing and travail we’re experiencing indicative that we are on the precipice of our transition Homeward? Indeed, could we finally be seeing the Rapture Door in this Hebrew year of the door—5784?! I believe so.

 

Could it be as soon as 2023? The key is in what happens next with Israel. . .
