Events Before the Rapture

On Monday evening I was out walking in our yard and couldn’t help but notice the moon. It wasn’t quite full yet, but like a gigantic brilliantly lit golden peach it dominated the midnight-blue sky and I ‘knew’ it was significant.

Brother Chooch and the TOL Board in Part 1 of RAPTURE HIGH WATCH  shared on Tuesday how the collective of watchmen is pointing to the high probability of a September 2020 Rapture and alluded to the THREE YEARS WARNING. Then today I learned that the beautiful moon I spotted is called the Corn Moon:

Not only has this Corn Moon appeared for the first time in THREE YEARS, but it is the FINAL FULL MOON OF THE SUMMER.

While flipping the calendar over to September, I noticed that SEPTEMBER 21 is the U.N. INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE and remembered how hopeful those of us who are watching for His Coming were last year at that time. So much has unfolded since then revealing the rise of the New World Order and the coming Ezekiel 38 war. What else could possibly happen before we meet our Blessed Lord in the air?

“In that day”

Previously, I have commented that the United States must fall for the NWO to rise and how the demise of Damascus, Syria, will be closely linked to the fall of America:

 

We see that everything is aligned for the Ezekiel 38 war and many watchmen believe that the next prophecy to be fulfilled is Isaiah 17:1—the fall of Damascus. This may be true; however, in my spirit I believe the fall of America will be closely linked with Damascus’ demise.

 Why? Because no one comes to Israel’s aid when she is attacked by Gog and Magog in the Ezekiel 38 war!

Though I shared this I did not give Scripture to support it, but this week the Spirit of the Lord led me to take a closer look at Isaiah 17. This chapter, usually titled in Bibles as “Destruction of Damascus” or something similar is believed to have more than one fulfillment. Its first fulfillment was during the reign of Ahaz:

 

In order of time this chapter should be placed next after ch. 9, for the destruction of Damascus, here foretold, happened in the reign of Ahaz, 2 Ki. 16:9. Matthew Henry Commentary

 

Many believe another fulfillment will be just prior to the Rapture.

Let’s examine some facts about the now famous Isaiah 17 Damascus prophecy.

 

            . . . 2. FACT: Isaiah 17:2 uses the phrase "The cities of Aroer are forsaken... “. But the Septuagint differs on Isaiah 17:2, replacing that phrase with “[Damascus will be] abandoned forever”. Damascus still stands today as the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world. Damascus has not been “abandoned forever.” Therefore, the Septuagint version, if correct, would require a yet future fulfillment for the Damascus prophecy. . . [bibleprophecyaswritten.com excerpt]

Full Corn Moon September 1-2, 2020

Pastor J. D. Farag is one who makes reference to Isaiah 17:1 as a possible precursor to the Rapture (for example in his Bible Prophecy Update: June 30 2019). This was in the back of my mind as I read Isaiah 17 for the umpteenth time, but the Holy Spirit caused me to read with prophetic eyes this time and verses jumped out that gave a sense of JACOB’S TROUBLE and the END OF THE SUMMER HARVEST:

 

And in that day it shall come to pass, [that] the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean. - Isaiah 17:4 KJV

And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim. - Isaiah 17:5 KJV

Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two [or] three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four [or] five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God of Israel. - Isaiah 17:6 KJV

At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel. - Isaiah 17:7 KJV

The phrase “day of the Lord” usually identifies events that take place at the end of history (Isaiah 7:18-25) and is often closely associated with the phrase “that day” or "in that day".

. . . 4. FACT: The “IN THAT DAY” statement of Isaiah 17:7 is evidence that there will be an ‘END TIME’ destruction of Damascus, making the ULTIMATE fulfillment of the Isaiah 17:1 prophecy still FUTURE.

 “In that day man will have regard for his Maker, And his eyes will look to the Holy One of Israel. Isaiah 17:7

This statement in Isaiah 17:7 has an ultimate and conclusive sense that there is a FUTURE “day” when momentous events will cause Israel and the Nations to “look to the Holy One of Israel” in faith. It is in that conclusive-day that Damascus “will become a fallen ruin” in final fulfillment of the prophecy of Isaiah 17:1. [bibleprophecyaswritten.com excerpt. Verses 12 and 13 of Isaiah Chapter 17 compare the nations to the sea--

 

Woe to the multitude of many people, [which] make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, [that] make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters! - Isaiah 17:12 KJV

The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but [God] shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind. - Isaiah 17:13 KJV

“The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters” refers to war (compare Isaiah 8:7 and Jeremiah 6:23 to the above verses). Isaiah 17:12 parallels Luke 21:25 while 17:13 foreshadows the Ezekiel 38 war.

 

As the Lord revealed . . . the sea is representative of the nations that are being ruled by principalities and powers. Most commentaries agree that the sea represents nations but neglect to note the connection with the spiritual world.

 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations [ethnos] with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; - Luke 21:25 KJV

 Luke 21:25 emphasizes that the sea of humanity will be perplexed and in distress and the waters of the sea will also be in turmoil! [Season of the Sea Roaring excerpt]

 

Compare Isaiah 17:13 (“The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters” which refers to war) with the following verses from the Book of Ezekiel:

And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: - Ezekiel 38:3 KJV

And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts [of armour, even] a great company [with] bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: - Ezekiel 38:4 KJV

And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes. - Ezekiel 38:16 KJV

And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, [that] my fury shall come up in my face. - Ezekiel 38:18 KJV

 

Continuing on in the Book of Ezekiel to the following chapter, we then see verses that parallel Isaiah 17:7--" In that day man will have regard for his Maker”:  

 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I [am] the LORD. - Ezekiel 39:6 KJV

So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not [let them] pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I [am] the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. - Ezekiel 39:7 KJV

Damascus-America-Babylon Link?

Just as I saw a parallel of Isaiah 17 with Ezekiel 38, I believe I discovered another for after studying Isaiah 17, I was then led to read Isaiah 21.

Isaiah 21 is a chapter Jaco Prinsloo of God’s Roadmap to the End Youtube Channel brought to my attention long ago:

 

A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam [west and southwest Iran]: besiege, O Media [north Iran]; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease. - Isaiah 21:2 KJV

Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing [of it]; I was dismayed at the seeing [of it]. - Isaiah 21:3 KJV

 

Again, Isaiah has prophesied of events that occurred previously in history (in this case it is during the time of Nebuchadnezzar) but seemingly also foretells of the 70^th Week of Daniel/Jacob’s Trouble. President Donald Trump’s Deal of the Century which calls for the dividing of the land of Israel is a treacherous deal and it will lead to the Ezekiel 38 war of Gog and Magog which includes Israel’s prime nemesis--the nation of Iran.

Isaiah 21:3 refers to the prophet having pains like labor take a hold of him (compare this with Jeremiah 30:6-7) and being dismayed at the seeing of the treacherous dealer. Chapter 21 then goes on to say the watchman sees something else--

For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth. And he saw a chariot [with] a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, [and] a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently with much heed: - Isaiah 21:6-7 KJV

 And he cried, A lion [rather, "(The watchman) cried, I am as a lion"; Rev 10:3, the loudness of the cry]: My lord, I stand continually upon the watchtower in the daytime, and I am set in my ward whole nights: - Isaiah 21:8 KJV

And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, [with] a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground. - Isaiah 21:9 KJV

To my delight, the day after posting this article James Smith posted his teaching The treacherous dealer first then the Antichrist! Beginning at the 14:30 minute mark, our Brother shares how Isaiah 21 shows that the treacherous dealer is directly connected to Babylon and that it is this treacherous dealer who lays the snare that is then later strengthened by the Antichrist.

In this little study of Isaiah, we have seen prophetic foreshadowing linking JACOB’S TROUBLE and the END OF THE SUMMER HARVEST with the demise of DAMASCUS. Now I propose that there may be a link between the fall of DAMASCUS and BABYLON.

Revelation Chapter 18 contains the prophecy related to the destruction of Babylon. I agree with James Smith and others who believe that America is part of the Babylon system and it must fall for the New World Order to rise: 

James Smith’s wonderful video in which he harmonizes the Scriptures related to "The Sea and the Waves Roaring" shows there is a great convergence of destruction that includes America on the Day the Lord comes for us! [Excerpt from Prepare to Meet Your Maker!] 

The point being that the Rapture of the Overcoming Church Bride will occur at the same time as the destruction comes—see Be Expectant! [The Candle and the Moon excerpt]

If all this is a prophetic insight into our very last days, we will soon see converging events leading to the fall of America and Damascus with the glorious Rapture event before God intervenes in the coming Ezekiel 38 war.

It is with hopeful, yearning hearts that we look to this month of September for it appears we are very near the climax of Luke 21:25’s “the sea and the waves roaring” and the final fulfillment of Isaiah 17!

In my article The dropping of HIS shoe--2 Visions? I shared how the Lord gave me two visions moments apart from each other indicating that America would experience a GREAT SHAKING in the form of a national disaster as we TRANSITION from the Church Age of Grace into The Tribulation.

 . . . If NEW YORK is to fall first with CHICAGO then L.A. to follow, the destruction of the city of New York will be the catalyst for their wicked plans. . . Then, on THE DAY of the Rapture God will implement HIS PLAN for NYC, the symbol of economic and political Babylon, as outlined in Revelation 18.  [Season of the Sea Roaring excerpt]

It may be that we will see a strike on NYC followed by a brief but powerful revival. We know America’s demise is imminent; therefore, the false flag attack on New York is all the more imminent. After the Great Harvest or Third Great Awakening THEN THE RAPTURE!

It is notable that Syria (or its ancient name Aram) is not listed among the Russia-Iran allies. It may be the prophecy concerning the destruction of Damascus will be fulfilled just prior to this invasion.

 In Ezekiel 39 the Bible goes on to warn the invading armies will be utterly destroyed ... by GOD! 

 . . . The United States will be "neutralized" sometime before this attack and will be unwilling or unable to help defend Israel, for the Bible warns Israel must stand alone ... with God!

9/3/20 UPDATE--

On September 1, 2020, Mike From Around the World posted 09 01 2020 Midnight Hour - Greece - Turkey - Conflict - Awakening. Starting at the 16-minute mark, Mike shares inside information that over the next week there will be major activity in the Middle East and “The area of interest is going to be Turkey and Syria.”

Then today, September 3, 2020, debka.com posted Israeli aircraft reportedly attack important Syrian T4 airbase. “Syrian military sources report that Israel aircraft rocketed the big T4 air base near Homs, coming from the US Al-Tanf garrison on the Syrian-Iraqi border,” the article reads. The report also refers to Sunday’s raid on Syrian military positions on the outskirts of Damascus and its international airport--Five Iranian-backed militia killed in Syria in alleged Israeli air strike – report.

MY GLORY IS COMING IN SEPTEMBER!

Clank, clank, clank, clank. That’s the sound of the Last Days Roller Coaster heading up to the pinnacle of what will be our next thrilling part of the ride! This coming segment of our Wild Ride was shown to me in The dropping of HIS shoe--2 Visions posted February 23, 2019, and I am excited to tell you it was CONFIRMED August 15, 2020, by Steven Ben Nun of Israeli News Live. At the 7:17 minute mark of his video, our Brother shares information he has learned from recent briefings of which he was a part:

 

“Things are gonna get very serious very soon.”

 

He goes on to explain (in cryptic language in order to not be censored by Youtube) how there is a FALSE FLAG EVENT coming that will look like what we saw happen overseas (inferring Beirut, Lebanon). This false flag event will occur either in “the Capitol” or “in a city North of that in New York” and be caused by ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY. Steven believes it will happen at the Capitol. Beginning at 14:42 minutes he reports that there will be many false flag events coming utilizing technology we have never imagined leading our Brother to believe that some of the coming asteroids will be manmade. While the United States is going through the turmoil associated with all these events, then war will come.

 

I was so thrilled when I heard him say this NOT because I am happy to see destruction come to America, but because it is MAJOR CONFIRMATION of what was impressed in my spirit from the Lord back in February 2019:

 

Before war comes to America, I believe God—IN HIS GREAT MERCY—will allow Her to experience some type of national calamity. It most likely will come as an apparent natural disaster. Let me explain.

 

I am not talking about God causing or sending this catastrophe. It has been proven there is advanced technology being used to manipulate the planet’s climate. It is my suspicion that since the United States must be destroyed for the New World Order to arise, they will use this fallen angel technology to bring down our beloved nation. Many believe that no such thing could happen before the Rapture of the Overcoming Church, but if Japan can suffer a large earthquake that leads to a tsunami in this Age of Grace, so can America. Steven Ben Nun said he believed the first false flag event would be in the Capitol; however, I believe it will occur in New York City because of what the Lord showed me regarding "New York, Chicago, L.A.":

 

. . . Immediately—and I mean immediately—as soon as I shut my eyes, I saw a great army in full armor on horseback seemingly knit together. Darkness surrounded them but great flames radiated from their heads.

 

“What am I seeing, Lord?” I asked.

Father God read the question in my mind—“When will this army be released?”

Peace & Safety then. . .

 

With the major news of the Abraham Accord on August 14, 2020, that: “Israel agreed to suspend its planned extension of sovereignty over parts of Judea and Samaria to facilitate relations with the UAE and potentially other Arab and Muslim countries”--could it be that we have finally come to the end of the ‘peace and safety’ announcement and will soon see the fulfillment of 1 Thessalonians 5:3?

 

Although we’ve been hearing about “peace and safety” for years now as our President and his staff have been brokering what is dubbed The Peace Deal of the Century, this recent agreement may be the catalyst for war. The Bride of Christ, I believe, will see only the “secret” part of the war. By this I am referring to the first false flag event in America that Israeli News Live reported which will appear to be due to an asteroid but in reality be a weaponized tungsten rod. Popular Science defined them in 2004 as “space-launched darts that strike like meteors” and when introduced in 2017 by Task & Purpose they were said to be “Basically A Weaponized Meteor Strike”.

During this time of our nation and the world being shaken, the Spirit-filled believers in Christ will experience the glory of God as never before and there will be great revival!

 

At the very beginning of his recent video, Bob Barber said the Lord told him to tell His people:

 

“MY GLORY IS COMING IN SEPTEMBER!

 

Glorious Revival

 

When this shaking occurs, there will be a spiritual backlash against the enemy’s efforts and a move of God like we’ve never seen before will occur.

It greatly encouraged me when I read T. W. Tramm's recent Facebook post. Here it is in part:

. . . Assuming the Lord plans to put off the reaping of the Church-field as long as possible to allow maximum time for repentance, it’s conceivable He could wait until late summer when the last of the spring-planted wheat is harvestable, and the summer fruits—representing Israel and nonbelievers—are likewise ready for harvesting and processing.

With the “season” paradigm in view, Pentecost may not be considered “fully come” until summer’s end, on a day no one knows (Acts 2:2; Mark 13:32).

The end of summer 2020 is thus a plausible time for the Rapture:

• It’s been 483 years (7 and 62 weeks) since the order to rebuild Jerusalem’s walls in 1536-37 (Dan. 9:25).

• It’s been 49 years (7 weeks) since a plan to rebuild Jerusalem in 1970 (Dan. 9:25).

• It’s been 3 years since major signs in the heavens (Luke 21:25; Joel 2:31; Rev. 12).

Additionally—

• It’s been 6,000 years, or 120 jubilees, since biblical creation (Gen. 6:3; 2 Pet. 3:8).

• It’s been 70-plus years, the span of a biblical generation, since the “fig tree,” the Nation of Israel, began putting forth leaves (Matt. 24:32-34; Ps. 90:10).

• The stage is set for the Ezekiel 38 conflict, the emergence of the 10-nation antichrist, or “beast,” governing system, and the global economic collapse alluded to in Revelation (6:6; 13:7; 17:12-14).

• Multiple peace deals between Israel and her Arab-Muslim neighbors are on the table or in the works (1 Thess. 5:3).

All that remains to happen before the Church is suddenly snatched up into the clouds is the sounding of God’s trumpet.

When that awesome trumpet sounds, there will be only two kinds of people on earth: those escaping judgment and those being left behind to face it (Luke 21:34-36).

To be part of the escaping group, one must be in a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. If you’re unsure of your standing with God, call on Him now. Tell Him you want to turn away from your sins. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord; believe that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10).

Do it today.

Time is running out. 

Asteroids AND/OR Weaponized Meteor Strikes

 

Approximately 11 minutes into Bob Barber's video he shares a clip from the Common Sense show where the guest describes 3 incoming Apollo class asteroids that are expected to hit earth this year on September 1 and 22 and November 2.

 

Steven Ben Nun’s sources assured him that the asteroid alert is real and that small meteorites are causing the fires in California. Over time the meteors and asteroids will be bigger and bigger. Although these sources said the asteroid slated to hit earth on September 1 would mainly burn up in the atmosphere and not be a major catastrophe, the guest on the Common Sense show learned from someone who studied the Torah Codes that Elul 12, 5780, or September 1, 2020, signals ASTEROID.

 

September 22-23 the day of ‘Sudden Destruction’?

 

Based on what Brethren are sharing and what I have personally been shown by the Lord, it is possible we may see New York City hit this year with a false flag event on September 1 or 22. I’m leaning towards it happening on the 1^st because it would allow the Army of God to arise and minister for a short period of time before we are gathered unto the Lord.

 

Summer ends at the Autumn Equinox on September 22.

 

I believe the Books of Joel and Jeremiah AND Amos foretell

 of trouble coming to Israel at the end of the Summer!

If Jacob’s Trouble begins at the end of the Summer, the Rapture must occur beforehand. Also converging on September 22 is the end of the 3-year warning of the Revelation 12 Sign of the Woman which appeared on Rosh Hashanah in 2017. This year, however, Rosh Hashanah or the Feast of Trumpets, falls on September 18-19. It is my hope that we meet the Lord in the air on that date or at the time of the September 22 ‘asteroid’ event.

September 23 has been projected for years as the day of “sudden destruction” through movies and other predictive programming. This destruction will most likely be caused by the Planet X system. Jeffrey McGaha gives an excellent summary in his 14-minute video Here It Comes (Watchman Update 7/27/20):

 

“I'm 99.99% sure the Revelation 12:3-5 celestial Dragon arrives for all to see this September, 2020. . . The Revelation 12:3-5 celestial Dragon is the key to the timing of the Rapture, and I believe the leaders of the entertainment industry know when the Dragon will arrive for all to see, which gives us the timing of the Rapture. I believe that timing is 9/23/20 into 9/24/20 depending on your time zone.” Jeffrey McGaha

 

There are Brethren that believe the Bride of Christ will be transformed perhaps on the Feast of Trumpets and then minister in their new bodies on earth for a period of time (like Christ did at His resurrection before He ascended to the Father). The Lord has not shown me whether this is true or not. But I know He has shown me we will walk in such great glory in the last days that we will do the greater things Jesus foretold we would do and there will be a Great Awakening!

RAPTURE Cut-Off Time

Book of Joel and The Day of the Lord

As I sought Him I was led to go deeper into the Book of Joel; and, thanks to many of my fellow watchmen pointing out a number of prophetic nuggets, I began to make connections with the Fall Feasts of the Lord and the last days timeline in the Book of Joel.

Joel is a short little book (only three chapters, 73 verses) devoted almost entirely to the most climactic period in all Scripture: "The Day of the Lord," the final climax that we are all looking forward to. . . khouse.org

No prophet of the Old Testament has a more important revelation of the end times than Joel . . . The Day of the Lord is a period of time from the Tribulation to the passing away of the heavens and earth (2 Pet 3:10). The Books of Joel and Amos p 18

The Feast of Trumpets (also known as Rosh Hashanah or Yom Teruah) is the first of the autumn feasts with The Day of Atonement coming ten days later. We identify these festivals as occurring in our fall season; however, according to Israel’s two seasons, many times they occur in summer and are associated with judgment.

The Cut-Off

According to Hebraic understanding, Rosh HaShanah or The Feast of Trumpets is the cut-off date before The Tribulation days of Jacob’sTrouble:

The average person has until Yom Kippur till his fate is sealed forever. In other words, the average person will have until the end of the seven-year tribulation to repent and turn to G-d. The average person on Rosh HaShanah is judged by G-d and is neither written in the book of life or the book of the wicked. His fate is yet to be decided. The average person and the wicked have to go through the "Awesome Days," the tribulation, until they reach Yom Kippur (the end of the tribulation when their fate is sealed forever)." Notice the “cutting off” mentioned in Joel 1:5:

Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth. - Joel 1:5 KJV

The “new wine” is cut off. New wine is associated with the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the beginning of the Church Age of Grace, so could Joel be prophesying here of the end of that Age? I believe so, because in verse 15 Joel proclaims the day of the Lord is “at hand” or near--it has not begun yet!

Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD [is] at hand [qarowb], and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. - Joel 1:15 KJV

The Day of the Lord Timeline

Joel Chapter 1 sets forth a last days’ timeline that is then repeated in Joel 2 but with added details. Joel 1 “sets the stage” of a time in Israel when the “new wine” is cut off (1:5) causing wailing and mourning (1:11-13); so there is a call for a solemn assembly (1:14) for the day of the Lord is near or at hand (1:15)!

The primary theme in the book of Joel is The Day of the Lord. It's an important book because it records Israel's place in God's program: from Babylon all the way through to the Millennium. Joel also has a lot to say about the Gentile nations and their collision course to Armageddon. Joel's second chapter reads like news camera footage of modern combat helicopters and troops in action! Except the cosmic effects are most terrifying:

The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. -Joel 2:10, 31

Peter also recognized that the astonishing events of Pentecost in Acts Chapter 2 were ushering in the preparation for the end times, and he quoted from Joel to make his point.¹ (However, the sun did not darken; the moon did not turn to blood; and the Lord didn't appear with wrath against the nations.) Peter knew well that the Day of the Lord had not come yet: he says so in 2 Pet 3:10. Pentecost was a fulfillment in miniature: Joel saw the end point of the whole process; Peter focused on the onset. Joel 2:15 = Yom Kippur = Jacob’s Trouble Begins?

Now I want to admit that my understanding could be incorrect, but it appears Joel 2:15 marks where The Day of the Lord--Jacob’s Trouble--The Tribulation begins for it describes a solemn assembly:

Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: - Joel 2:15 KJV

Both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are announced with the blowing of the trumpet. Both moedim or appointed times are associated with judgment (as noted above); however, it is the time of Yom Kippur when fasting is called for along with a solemn assembly:

"The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. You are to hold a sacred assembly and practice self-denial; you are to present a fire offering to the LORD. - Leviticus 23:27 CSB

There were many reasons for blowing trumpets in ancient Israel and I would not connect a particular feast with the trumpets of the Book of Joel except for the fact that the primary subject of this book is The Day of the Lord which will call for the fulfilling of God’s appointed times.

Assuming that Joel 2:15’s trumpet is announcing Yom Kippur, then both Joel 2:15 and Joel 1:13 point to the start of Jacob’s Trouble.

Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God. - Joel 1:13 KJV

Compare this verse with Jeremiah’s prophecy:

Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? - Jeremiah 30:6 KJV

Alas! for that day [is] great, so that none [is] like it: it [is] even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. - Jeremiah 30:7 KJV

Trumpets and Feasts

At this point in my study of Joel I began noticing the verses that mention trumpets.

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for [it is] nigh at hand; - Joel 2:1 KJV

Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: - Joel 2:15 KJV

The Great Shofar

. . . There are three primary shofarim (trumpets) to the Jewish people and these three trumpets are associated with specific days in the year. These three trumpets are:

(a) "The First Trump," blown and associated with Shavuot (Pentecost);
(b) "The Last Trump," blown and associated with Rosh HaShanah;
(c) "The Great Trump," blown and associated with Yom Kippur.

Joel 2:1 = Feast of Trumpets = Rapture?

Based on the following Hebraic understanding of the feasts, the alarm of the Joel 2:1 trumpet (Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm) could be proclaiming the start of The Feast of Trumpets while Joel 2:15’s trumpet is proclaiming Yom Kippur:

Rosh HaShanah and The Season of Teshuvah

A special season known as Teshuvah, which in Hebrew means "to return or repent," begins on the first day of the month of Elul and continues 40 days, ending with Yom Kippur. Thirty days into Teshuvah, on Tishrei l, comes Rosh HaShanah. This begins a final ten-day period beginning on Rosh HaShanah and ending on Yom Kippur. These are known as the High Holy Days and as the Awesome Days (Yamim Nora'im, the days of awe).

. . . Each morning during the 30 days of the month of Elul, the trumpet (shofar) or ram's horn is blown to warn the people to repent and return to G-d.

The message from Elul 1 to Rosh HaShanah is clear: Repent before Rosh HaShanah. Don't wait until after Rosh HaShanah, or you will find yourself in the Days of Awe. The Seven Festivals of the Messiah/Chapter 7

Both of these moedim occur near the end of summer at the time of the wine and olive festivals.

According to the Mishna, Tu B'Av was a joyous holiday in the days of the Temple in Jerusalem, marking the beginning of the grape harvest. Yom Kippur marked the end of the grape harvest. On both dates the unmarried girls of Jerusalem dressed in white garments, and went out to dance in the vineyards. Wikipedia

While Tu B’Av (which begins tonight and ends at sunset August 5) seems the perfect choice for a 2020 Rapture appointment, I am coming full circle back to the Feast of Trumpets as the most probable time for the Resurrection/Rapture of the Bride of Christ if our Heavenly Father is indicating these feasts in the Book of Joel, and if only for the reason that our God seems to grant mercy up to the very last minute. According to the Hebraic understanding, the Feast of Trumpets/Rosh Hashanah IS the very last minute! This would flow with the idea that the “new wine” was “cut off” because Rosh Hashanah falls in between Tu B’Av (which marks the beginning of the grape harvest) and Yom Kippur (which marks the end of the grape harvest)! Summer and Harvest

Joel 1:5 speaks of the new wine which is made at the grape harvest. Peter associates new wine with the end of the age when he quotes Joel's prophesy about the coming Day of the Lord in Acts 2.

In Song of Solomon 2:11-13 notice that tender grapes are the final agricultural sign mentioned before the shepherd, a type of Christ, says, “Arise, my love...and come away,” thus signaling a possible late summer Resurrection/Rapture.

My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines [with] the tender grape give a [good] smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away. - Song of Songs 2:10, 13 KJV

Now let’s look at the major crops after Pentecost. Grapes were the first major crop to ripen . . .

The importance of grapes and olives is illustrated by the fact that the Essenes had wine and oil firstfruits festivals similar to the biblical firstfruits offering for grain. These festivals also indicate the relative timing of these crops. The new wine festival came 50 days or seven weeks after Pentecost. Both grapes and olives are harvested near the end of Summer (see gci.org). As noted by T. W. Tramm, “Biblically, summer begins at the vernal equinox in March and ends at the autumnal equinox in September.” In 2020 the autumn equinox will be on September 22.

Joel foretells that both the “fig tree” and the “olive oil” languish--they look sick or appear to be in mourning:

The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth ['amal]. - Joel 1:10 KJV

The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth ['amal]; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, [even] all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men. - Joel 1:12 KJV

Both the fig tree and olive are symbols of Israel so that Joel is giving us a picture of the people of Israel NOT escaping but having to endure Jacob’s Trouble.

The Tribulation to Begin When Summer Ends?

I believe  the Books of Joel and Jeremiah AND Amos foretell of trouble coming to Israel at the end of the Summer:

And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more. - Amos 8:2 KJV

“The harvest is past, the summer has ended, and we are not saved” (Jer. 8:20).

. . . The fact is that the Lord has been sending the Holy Spirit to indwell new believers every day for the past 2,000 years. It could therefore be said that Pentecost is experiencing an extended, or long-range, fulfillment: the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in 33 AD marked merely the beginning of a harvest of believers that will conclude when the full number of souls have been indwelt by the Spirit and God calls His Church home at the Rapture.

And so instead of “Pentecost fulfilled” (period, end of story), it’s more like:

Pentecost fulfilled . . .

Accepting this scenario, the question that remains is: WHEN will this extended period of “harvest” conclude, thereby completely fulfilling Pentecost?

One could reason it will NOT be on Pentecost.

The logic is that Pentecost, as a celebration of the “firstfruits” of the wheat harvest, marks the time, agriculturally, when the harvest begins.

If one is looking for the culminating event of the wheat harvest (Rapture), it makes more sense to seek it around the time the actual harvest concludes, which can be late summer or early fall. It is around this time that the wheat harvest finally wraps up and the gathering of the grapes and other fruits begins. With the above in mind, it’s interesting to note that there is no feast, or appointed time, on God’s calendar marking the conclusion of the wheat harvest—it simply ends when it ends, on a “day and hour” no one can predict.

Summer in Bible Prophecy

WITH summer in full swing and biblical signs manifesting all around, it’s a fitting time to review some of the scriptures linking the season of sunshine and warm temperatures to the end of the age. . .

Biblically, summer begins at the vernal equinox in March and ends at the autumnal equinox in September. Winter runs the opposite, beginning in September and ending in March. Therefore, to be precise, spring is not a distinct season but, rather, merely the first part of the summer. Likewise, autumn is not a distinct season but, rather, the first part of winter. . .

Having defined the biblical boundaries of summer, let’s consider some scriptures that point to this season being a pivotal time in Bible prophecy.

SUMMER AND THE CHURCH

In Matthew, Jesus uses summer as a metaphor for the end of the age:*

“Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near” (Matt. 24:32).

Considering God’s propensity to fulfill His word to the letter, even the metaphors, a reasonable expectation is that the event marking the end of the Church Age will occur in the summer.

In the Book of Ruth, summer is the backdrop for the redemption of a Gentile bride via marriage to a Jewish redeemer—a picture of the wedding of the Church to Messiah. Interestingly, some speculate that Ruth’s wedding may have occurred on or around the Jewish holiday Tu B’Av in the July-August timeframe. . .

The gathering and storing of summer crops foreshadows the harvest and gathering of the Church into heaven at the end of the age.

. . . Notice in Leviticus the fields are reaped before the first festival of the seventh month, Yom Teruah, arrives:

“When you reap the harvest of your land [in summer], do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest …. [Later] on the first day of the seventh month, you are to have a day of sabbath rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts” (Lev. 23:22, 23). . .

SUMMER AND ISRAEL

While summer in general is associated with the Church, the end of the season—the time when figs and olives are harvested—bears significance for Israel. For instance, in Amos, a basket of fruit that has ripened over the summer is a symbol of Israel being ripe for judgment:

“This is what the Sovereign LORD showed me: a basket of summer fruit … Then the LORD said to me, ‘The time is ripe for my people Israel; I will spare them no longer’” (Amos 8:1, 2).

In Jeremiah, the Jews lament the passing of the summer harvest:

“The harvest is past, the summer has ended, and we are not saved” (Jer. 8:20).

While the context of the verse is an ancient judgment, Jeremiah may also be alluding to a future time when Israel sees the Church rescued via the Rapture and comes to the painful realization that they are not saved.

In Micah, summer is when the upright people have been swept from the land:

“What misery is mine! I am like one who gathers summer fruit at the gleaning of the vineyard; there is no cluster of grapes to eat, none of the early figs that I crave. The faithful have been swept from the land; not one upright person remains. Everyone lies in wait to shed blood; they hunt each other with nets” (Mic. 7:1-2). . .

NOTES:

*Some propose that Matthew 24 is addressed solely to Israel and, therefore, has no bearing on the Church Age or Rapture. It’s important to understand, however, that even though Jesus’ immediate audience in Matthew 24 was Jewish (disciples), they were also the founding members of the Church. Granted, the Church Age had not yet technically begun (Acts 2), but the Church’s existence had been revealed prior (Matt. 16:18). . . Jesus knew, by way of the Holy Spirit guiding Him, that His appearing was to be a dual event (Rapture/Second Coming). In order to give a proper answer to the disciples’ question concerning His return without revealing the mystery of the Rapture, He spoke in terms that address both the Rapture and the Second Coming. This is what we’re seeing in Matthew 24: a picture of the Church Age and its conclusion after a 2,000-year period of “tribulation” (Rev. 1:9) and also a picture of the time of Jacob’s Trouble, i.e. “great” Tribulation, and its conclusion (Matt. 24:21). theseasonofreturn.com/tw tramm

As noted earlier, Biblically, summer ends at the autumnal equinox in September. In 2020 the autumnal equinox occurs September 22, Tuesday. Therefore, technically Rosh Hashanah or The Feast of Trumpets will occur this year just prior to the end of Summer at sunset on September 18!

War, Asteroids & Summer 2020

“Seventy-five years after the second war will come the final and greatest war that will make the second seem even smaller,” prophetic rabbi Chofetz Chaim said according to an article in breakingisraelinews.com. The armistice was signed on August 14, 1945, but the Japanese surrendered two weeks later on September 2, five days before Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year.

According to the precise understanding of Chofetz Chaim, the third war is prophesied to begin in the Summer of 2020. (Summer ends in 2020 four days after Rosh Hashanah).

Also, let’s not forget that the asteroid debris will be evident in September 2020. At about the 27:50-minute mark, in Bob Barber’s video, Government Hidden Preparations For 2020 Asteroid Impacts! Steven Ben Nun tells Adam from Marfoogle News:

“My FEMA source said the reason for the lockdown that is coming is because they know the disasters are coming, but she also said at the same time they will be using tactical nukes on our nation while these asteroids are hitting in order to cover up what is going on there. . .The disaster in America will be so massive. . . that the Chinese are ready . . . to come in the guise of bringing humanitarian aid. . . in order to take over the nation for its natural resources.”

So, Brethren, “when they come down, we go up”! Many brethren have been shown this by the Spirit of the Lord. What is coming down has been revealed as: missiles, asteroids/meteorites, and fallen angels. This leads me to believe there will be a Great Convergence on the Day of The Rapture of fiery meteorites falling along with earthly and heavenly war. The Revelation 12 Dragon and The Rapture

Let us not be terrified about what is coming at the end of summer, but let us rejoice for what Jesus will do through us in these last days and remember what He said:

A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. - John 16:21 KJV

8/18/20--Unsealed posted 2020 Rapture Theory: The Third-Day Birthday written by Jeff who has done a phenomenal job defining four paradigms associated with the timing of our gathering unto the Lord. The fourth paradigm or "The Third-Day Birthday" factor strengthens and aligns with the previous three and explains further the cut-off time I outlined from the Book of Joel in my above article.

Jeff writes, “As we hope to demonstrate, there is ample evidence from Scripture to expect a momentous "resurrection event" as we approach three full years since the "starting gun" of the Ten Years of Awe back in September of 2017.”

 “To further define the Third-Day Birthday in relation to the Ten Years of Awe timeline, we are anticipating the fulfillment of Revelation 12:5, the "Birthday" of the Body of Christ—i.e. the resurrection of the dead and the transformation/rapture of the living—to occur during or upon the completion of the Third Year of Awe (the deadline is September 2020; specifically, a brief window from 9/17 to 9/23). According to the Ten Years of Awe pattern, if we go beyond the Fall Equinox (9/22-23), this theory falls apart and we'll have to recalibrate. However, if this pattern holds true, well...you know...”

11/11/20 So Jeff at Unsealed saw the 3-year marker as shared in his article 2020 Rapture Theory: The Third-Day Birthday ; however, both he and I (and I’m sure others as well) thought the Scriptures were indicating an end of September 2020 Rapture Cut-Off Time. This proved not to be the case, so Bob Barber may be correct that the full gestation of the Revelation 12 Man Child ended September 2020 and that crowning will soon occur; however, there must be time allowed for labor pains before crowning can occur!
