I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, [which] shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, - Isaiah 62:6 KJV

Friends of mine emailed me to alert me of what is happening. I am thankful for this because we do not have regular TV reception in our home (we gave up cable, etc.).

UN recognition of a Palestinian state is one step closer to collapse according to the internet news (click on ynetnews). Although the Palestinians are no longer pushing for full state status this year in the United Nations, the proposed strategy is for them to request upgraded status:

...Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the Palestinian leadership, is expected to convene his leadership council by the beginning of next week to discuss alternative options.

It is likely that they will approve the presentation of a resolution to the General Assembly, which can upgrade the Palestinian Authority from its present status as an observer entity at the UN to that of a "non-member state" without recourse to the Security Council.

Known as the "Vatican Option", it would give the Palestinians the same status as the Holy See, which cannot vote on resolutions but which – crucially – is regarded as a sovereign state.

Although no decision has yet been made, a Palestinian official said a resolution could be tabled before the General Assembly meets on November 29, when it traditionally discusses Palestinian affairs. [Excerpt taken from:
telegraph.co.uk]

We need to be in prayer especially now for the peace of Jerusalem, because (as I mentioned in my previous article written September 17--click on Urgent) upgraded observer status could be interpreted as implicit UN recognition of Palestinian statehood because the assembly would be acknowledging that the Palestinians control an actual state.

The advantage of this option to the Palestinians is that it would require only a simple majority of the General Assembly. Since around 120 countries have already recognized the state of Palestine to date, it would likely win such a vote overwhelmingly.

If the Palestinians were to be recognized as a non-member state, they would be able to sign certain international treaties, such as the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, which they cannot currently sign. This would mean thousands of lawsuits against Israel and isolation and demonization of the State of Israel...

...and you know what happens to those who would do this (see Joel 3:1-2 and Deuteronomy 30 if you don't remember).

These are amazing and prayerful days we live in!

An Earthquake Where? (or The Heat is On Part 2)

Wow! Two blog posts in one week! Well, I couldn't leave you hanging after writing about the warning David Wilkerson and others have sounded out...

The United States is going to experience, in the not-too-distant future, the most tragic earthquake in its history…I am not at all convinced that this earthquake will take place in California. In fact, I believe it is going to take place where it is least expected. (The Vision and Beyond by David Wilkerson, page 28)

This past May our President met with Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. President Obama's plan for resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was (and continues to be) to have Israel's borders return to what they were before the 1967 Arab-Israeli war—albeit with adjustments to account for Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

So what does that have to do with a catastrophic earthquake prophesied to occur in the United States?

The people of Israel have a covenant with the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob--the same God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Yahshua Ha Moschiach.

Galatians 3:1-14 teaches that those who accept Christ Jesus under the New Covenant receive the blessings of Abraham. These blessings are enumerated in Deuteronomy 28. But notice the blessing in verse 7:
The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. - Deuteronomy 28:7 KJV
There are serious consequences to those who would force Israel's hand to surrender its land (see Deuteronomy 30:5-7). If Netanyahu were to adhere to Obama's key points, it would threaten the very survival of Israel as a Jewish state.

In those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them concerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land. - Joel 3:1-2 NIV

It has been prophesied that the U.S. will suffer its land being divided by an earthquake if it is instrumental in the land of Israel being divided. This earthquake is to occur in the middle of America at the New Madrid fault line. While searching for the predictions related to this, I came across a site that has grouped these along with other catastrophic prophecies. The site is: usaprophet.com

Even science predicts the plausibility of such a calamity:
earthquake.usgs.gov

The incredible book Eye to Eye: Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel by White House Correspondent, William R. Koenig, proves many disasters befalling America come in direct and immediate response to George H. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush's devotion to robbing Israel of their God-given land.

Quoting from Amazon.com, "All of these major catastrophes transpired on the very same day or within 24-hours of U.S. presidents Bush, Clinton and Bush applying pressure on Israel to trade her land for promises of "peace and security," sponsoring major "land for peace" meetings, making major public statements pertaining to Israel’s covenant land and /or calling for a Palestinian state...(see
amazon.com)

With all this overwhelming news, what are we to do? The scriptures show that we should never worry only PRAY.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you. - Psalm 122:6 NKJV

Do you believe God is warning America? I'd be glad to hear from you.

If you find the topic of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict confusing, here is a 6-minute youtube video where Israel's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Danny Ayalon, explains the historical facts relating to the conflict. The video explains where the terms "West Bank", "occupied territories" and "1967 Borders" originated and how they have been incorrectly used:

Angels

I’m not one for worshipping anyone or anything except the One True God. I do, however, believe there is a spiritual realm that will manifest on our physical plane. God’s angels will do this.

Have I seen an angel? I believe I have. One day I was out and about with my two sons when they were only little boys—Matthew was five and Jonah was three. I wanted to drive the car from the parking lot we were in to an adjacent lot. There was what looked like a speed bump between the two lots, so I proceeded to drive over it. Bad move. My station wagon got hung up on the so-called speed bump.

“Oh no, God, Tom is gonna kill me!” I cried out in prayer. There was no way I was going to get out of this mess without some help. Suddenly, a group of boys of staggered height walked up to us. They looked sort of like a teen rock band because every one of them had bright blonde hair.

“Is there something we can do to help you?” the tallest one asked. “Oh, yes. Could you give us a push over this hump I’m caught on?”

After we were all buckled in again, the boys gave the car a good heave and it was free. “Oh thank you so much!” I paused to show my appreciation and said I wished I could reward them monetarily, but the tall boy told me not to worry about it. Happy to be on my way again, I slowly drove to find a parking place. When I stopped I noticed Matthew had twisted out of his seat belt and was looking out the back window.

“They're gone,” Matt stated with a sense of amazement. “Yes, they’re gone,” I agreed looking in the same direction. “No, Mommy, they dis’ppeared. They walked ‘cross the road and then they were gone!” This time I took a hard look. There was no sign of the tow-headed youths anywhere. Then I got to thinking. It was a school day. What were these adolescents doing here on a school morning? Playing hooky waiting for me to make my dumb move? I don’t think so. It wasn’t a teen rock band, I believe it was a band of angels my Lord sent to rescue me. Y’know, so that my husband Tom wouldn’t kill me:)

Hebrews 13:2 KJV - Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

What inspired me to share this is a friend just sent me an angel story along with a video link:

Hi family, this video is of a guy who had been spending time worshipping Jesus for 10 hrs a day for quite some time. He had committed to doing this for a few months or something. Anyways, his wife began coming in the room and worshipping with him. One day while they were doing this they began to hear angels singing with them. He decided to invest money to go into a professional recording studio and record him worshipping. Just him and his acoustic guitar and see if he would hear the angels again and be able to record it. He planned to go in there and do 4 songs. On the last song he heard them. You can hear it about 5 mins or so into the song. He is from Johnny Enlow's church in GA. He is singing in spanish.

Not only is it amazing when you start to hear the angels, but this guys voice is beautiful. When you listen to it, listen to it from a place of worship. People have really been encountering the presence of Jesus when hearing this.

The Inner Chamber

Many of you reading this will know what I am referring to when I write of the inner chamber and many will not. What I am referring to is the secret place in the spiritual plane reserved for you and your Heavenly Father through Christ Jesus, Yahshua, by way of the Holy Spirit.

You might call it the prayer closet. But prayer is only a part of our worship to the Almighty. Just when I believe I have ‘worship’ defined, He reveals more to me. I believe when I write as led by the Spirit of God that that is worship. Does it take the place of communion in the inner chamber? At this point in my life, I cannot be sure. I simply know He wants that exchange of intimacy. When I go to that trysting place seeking Him, many times writing ideas manifest. He is my inspiration. He is my guide, comforter, healer, and lover of my soul.

Not that a believer has to be in a particular physical location to experience a holy encounter. I remember the first time I saw the Lord Jesus. I had been praying for a few days asking to see Him because a friend of mine had told me that this was available—to see into the spiritual realm. I had gone to bed before my husband one night. Although my eyes were closed as I lay there, I sensed that someone had entered the room. I sat up and in the bedroom corner I saw a figure of light. “Lord, is that You?” I whispered with trembling lips. He did not speak, but I had a knowing within that it was Him and tears coursed down my face. Suddenly the door opened causing me to turn and see that it was Tom coming to bed. When I quickly turned back to look upon the Lord, He was gone.

It was the beginning of many more adventures in the spirit. Sometimes I recognized whether it was the Father (as I related in my recent blog entry titled Mental Illness--Hope and Forgiveness) or Jesus or the Holy Spirit, and sometimes I did not. My manner is to converse with the Lord throughout the day. One particular day as I was putting laundry into the washer, I was apologizing to the Holy Spirit for something and was surprised when I was suddenly overwhelmed by a wave of love. Oh, there is nothing like it!

One of my favorite movies is Amazing Grace. It’s the story of William Wilberforce who was the leading abolitionist in Britain who persuaded Parliament to ban the slave trade in 1807. In one scene a servant finds this man of faith sitting in the middle of a meadow disheveled and with a silly grin on his face. Wilberforce shares with him how God has moved upon him and caused him to come undone.

Like William Wilberforce, I am thrilled, undone and truly humbled by these encounters. I simply live for those waves of love! You probably see my point in writing all this. I want to encourage you to seek His face. Whether it is by going outside, in a private room, or in your car, just do it. Go to the secret place--He is waiting for you.

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe...Ephesians 1:18-19 in part

Singing By The Spirit

Woven into the mundane everyday chores of my life as a handmaiden of the Lord, who happens to also be a wife/mother/grandmother/homemaker/writer, is a time when I get to exercise my wings as a prophetic singer. One night a week my husband and I minister with an intercessory worship team. Tom plays the drums and percussion and I sing alongside two other women and the male worship leader who plays the keyboard.

What makes this type of worship different is that we pray and sing the scriptures as the Spirit of God leads us. This is where the prophetic comes in. As we sing, the Holy Spirit gives us other related scripture verses to sing or words of proclamation, repentance or encouragement--whatever is His desire. We become guided missiles of intercession at the hands of The Great Intercessor. (For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. 1 Cor 14:31)

There is also a prayer leader who reads and prays the focal verses. This past Tuesday, as the prayer leader began, she went to the Lord with such a contrite heart that we easily entered into that same place with her. This caused the heavens to rend and the atmosphere of the Throne of Heaven invaded our earthly atmosphere. I wept with the realization of what was happening. In the Spirit I saw wings upon wings filling the room and I began to sing what I was envisioning~

Do you see them?
They are here to worship Him with us~
Their wings fill the room!
Do you see them?

A cacophany of praise and worship erupted. The sound was loud and full and I knew the angels were singing with us for there was only a handful of saints gathered with us.

THIS is what I live for. To experientially KNOW HIM~The Lover of My Soul. I seek to encounter Him in my prayer closet and I seek to encounter Him corporately with the Body of Believers. Hallelu-Jah!
