Bad News; Good News
Don’t you hate it when someone asks, “So which do you want first—the good news or the bad news?” Instead of doing that I will tell you in a nutshell what God in His infinite goodness has revealed to Those Who Have Ears to Hear and Eyes to See. Our Brother at The Kindling says it best: “We are gonna see some things before the Rapture. . . We’re going to have a little bit of a ride! This is NOT The Tribulation, but a SHAKING is coming to get our unsaved loved ones SAVED!” (See Trouble Before Rapture by The Kindling.)
Ok, that was the “bad news”. In this Brother’s words, here’s the good news:
“During this coming judgment, we are going to be SECURE!” He explains that Those in Christ drawing nigh to Him have nothing to fear, for our Redemption is truly near!
Before delving into the events prophesied to occur prior to the Rapture, I want to again emphasize the importance of prayerfully taking these things before the Lord. I wanted to correlate as many of the prophesied things to happen in one article (though I know it is not a complete list). I wouldn’t even be writing about the Rapture except that the Holy Spirit spoke clearly to me in 2015 that the Lord would be coming for us soon. Nor would I be sharing about possible events to occur before the Rapture except that the Spirit of the Lord revealed certain things to me and others that have since been confirmed.
Most teach that no particular sign or event must occur before the Rapture. This is true, yet the Spirit of the Lord has revealed through the saints certain events that are to transpire prior to or in conjunction with our Catching Away. One prevalent example is the myriad of believers in Christ who have been shown by the Spirit that nuclear ballistic missiles will be coming down at the same time Those in Christ ascend. The Scriptures refer to nuclear weaponry but (to my knowledge) not the timing of its use, yet this prophecy will most likely be proven true.

However, consistent with Bible prophecy, the "birth" of Antichrist on the world scene can only occur at the end of a global war, a war in which entire nations may be annihilated. The Moses Pattern
I recently watched the video Shocking Prophetic Timeline Reveals What's Next on Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural Network. In this video Robin D. Bullock shares that he was shown in 2012 we had entered the “time of Moses”. The Lord said to Robin, “God’s people will be coming out. Several things will be happening now in sequence--things in the world and things in the Church. . .” [Stunning Heavenly Signs and Patterns for the Rapture excerpt]
If we are indeed following The Moses Pattern, it is possible God is wanting to deal with Baal-Zephon, the god of child sacrifice, before we cross over our Red Sea! I am referring to the possibility that God is working to overturn Roe v. Wade before the Rapture. [Hope Holdup excerpt]

. . . The most recent event on the Sign Line pertains to the overturn of Roe v. Wade, proclaimed notably on the same day as the very rare Grand Planetary Parade heavenly sign!
June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade the landmark ruling that established the Constitutional right to abortion in the U.S. in 1973.
In December 2021, Myles Kilby, an accountant in Georgia, prophesied that Roe v. Wade would be overturned in 2022. . .
"For the past five or six months, I've been preaching this and prophesying this publicly," Kilby said on a recent appearance on Sid Roth's show, It's Supernatural! "This is a divine turnaround year. ... God [is] going to completely overturn Roe v. Tsunamis
Perry Stone recently shared that God told him once Roe v. Wade was overturned there would be certain states making laws against it. This was when the tsunamis that God had shown Perry would begin. (It is my belief that a tsunami will be part of the converging events on the Day of the Rapture.) If accurate, then we are so very close to being Caught Up for the States of New York and California and others are taking a strong stance against this landmark decision.
Event or Sign Line
There are, of course, festivals or feasts of the Lord referred to during the Exodus which I and others have looked at as possibly pointing to the timing of the Rapture; however, the purpose of this article is to look at what EVENTS might occur prior to the Catching Away.
In the Old Testament account there were 10 plagues listed that occurred prior to the children of Israel being led out of Egypt. Nothing in the Scriptures tells us that God would repeat these plagues, yet in recent years we have seen 8 of those 10 plagues manifest once again. It is interesting that israel365news.com in its article Incredible Evidence Proves Ten Plagues Happening Today mentions the darkness to be caused by the incoming Nibiru, a planet or dwarf star with an accompaniment of moons of which I have written about previously.
Will we see the last 2 plagues—the plague of darkness and the plague of the death of the firstborn? If God is choosing to follow the pattern of the original Exodus, it is possible we will.
#9 Plague of Darkness
And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness [which] may be felt. And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. - Exodus 10:21-23 KJV
#10 Plague of the Death of the Firstborn
And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that [is] behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more. - Exodus 11:4-6 KJV
3 Days of Darkness?
There are many prophecies indicating that a Plague of Darkness is coming. I too was shown this as I shared in 3 Days of Darkness? Notice that in the Exodus account the darkness was so thick it could be felt—" They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings”—BUT God’s people had LIGHT!
The Plague of the Death of the Firstborn was what broke and humbled the Egyptian Pharoah. Could it be that the Rapture of Those in Christ would parallel that plague in that the innocent children of unbelievers will also be caught away to Heaven on that day leaving their parents bewildered and distraught?
Notice also the last plague is the 10th one. Could it be that the 10th plague marks the conclusion of the Dispensation of Grace (10 signifies “completeness of order” and “the whole cycle is complete”) as the 11th Shemitah since the re-establishment of Israel (11 is symbolic for “disorder, disorganization, imperfection, and disintegration”) gives birth to the chaotic time of Jacob’s Trouble? If we do witness the Plague of Darkness, Brethren, it will be the Lord of Heaven letting the world know that very soon He will be catching away His Elect Church!
Earthquake Before Darkness?
It has also been prophesied that a large earthquake will occur prior to this darkness coming.
There is no doubt in my mind that a major earthquake will occur in the United States. The big question is—will it be associated with the Resurrection and Rapture of Those in Christ? Historical records indicate there have been massive earthquakes before–the most recent being the powerful 9.0 Japan earthquake and tsunami of 2011 which sent tsunami waves across the Pacific basin causing widespread damage. Signs and Wonders
It has been foretold that adjacent to this time Those in Christ will walk in great power and glory.
In this Moses Pattern God showed great signs and wonders. If the New Testament is the Old Testament in reverse, then God will show great signs and wonders before the Church exits. As I shared earlier in this article, REVIVAL of some type is to follow the overturn of Roe v. Wade. It is possible the Lord Jesus Christ plans on working through His true Church to accomplish this and bring in the last Great Harvest before the Rapture.
In "New York, Chicago, L.A." I share a vision I was given of a glorious end time army and how I was made to understand it would go forth during a so-called time of peace and safety. Perhaps the Lord was showing me the short period when the Body of Christ will minister after the great earthquake. I am uncertain as to how all this will look but have written about the possibility that Rivkah Ministries’ insight may be the most accurate as I shared in Is There Really a Rapture?
The ancient apocalyptic text of 1 Enoch may or may not be referring to this strange season:
1 Enoch 49:1-3
In those days the saints and the chosen shall undergo a change. The light of day shall rest upon them; and the splendor and glory of the saints shall be changed. In the day of trouble evil shall be heaped up upon sinners; but the righteous shall triumph in the name of the Lord of spirits. Others shall be made to see, that they must repent, and forsake the works of their hands; and that glory awaits them in the presence of the Lord of spirits; yet that by His name they may be saved. The Lord will have compassion on them; for great is His mercy; and righteousness is in His judgment, and in the presence of His glory; nor in His judgment shall iniquity stand. He who repents not before Him shall perish.
Not having the text in the original language, I do not know which type of “change” the chosen undergo as referred to in the first verses:
“In those days the saints and the chosen shall undergo a change. The light of day shall rest upon them. . .”
The Book of Corinthians refers to two types of changes:
A study of the Greek words translated “changed” verifies the difference between the two:
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed [metamorphoō] into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord. - 2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed [allassō]. - 1 Corinthians 15:52 KJV

The Book of 1 Enoch tells us that this change will manifest as “The light of day shall rest upon them”. When something rests upon you, it infers a tentative placing such as how the Spirit of God rested upon Old Testament saints provisionally. If this change is a tentative “glory to glory” transformation, that means they have NOT received their new bodies as yet but will at the time of the Rapture.
This is the type of change I believe the Lord showed me in the vision he gave me as explained in “New York, Chicago, L.A.” However, my understanding could be incorrect. My Brother in Christ and fellow blogger at End Times: Darkness Descending posited compelling points and shared his Biblical research into the possibility of Those in Christ receiving their new bodies and ministering for a time prior to The Tribulation in his article Something Exciting is Coming. He refers to 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 and points out that it is our glorious transformation that will occur in the “twinkling of an eye” but not specifically our exit:
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. - 1 Corinthians 15:52 KJV
One of the several templates that we can buttress Paul’s clear statement of a warning before Rapture on is the story of Elijah’s catching away. Elijah’s cohort Elisha knew that he was going to be “caught away” on the very day that it occurred. He actually witnessed it happen. They had advanced notice.
Another sterling example that we can use is the resurrection of Jesus. When He arose from the dead, the dead also arose and were seen walking the streets of Jerusalem for 40 days. When ascension day came after the 40 days of walking the streets of Jerusalem had expired and Jesus ascended back to Heaven, those who resurrected with Jesus also ascended to Heaven with Him as the “first fruits.”
As I've stated before, I too believe that Those in Christ will be walking in a glorified state for a period of time before the Rapture. Whether we have gone from “glory to glory” as it says in 2 Corinthians 3:18 or whether we have received our ultimate transformation, our new bodies, I do not know. The purpose of this transformation, of course, being to expedite the salvation of as many as possible before the Rapture.
The Appointed Time
I believe the Rapture will then occur at a time appointed by our Heavenly Father, but will it necessarily be on a feast day? In his video The Rapture Timing Secret Lee Brainard at Soothkeep YTC contends that Jesus’ ascension was not on a Jewish feast day, therefore, the Body of Christ's ascension will not be on a festival day. (The day Jesus ascended to Heaven was not a feast day even though the Catholic Church has turned it into one.)
This got me to thinking about the phrase “appointed time” or moed in Hebrew. Does moed ALWAYS mean a Feast Day? In studying H4150 moed I learned that it does not always refer to a Feast Day. To my knowledge, no verse specifies a definite festival on which the Rapture will occur although each feast of the Lord has elements foreshadowing the Rapture.
I have shared in Rapture Cut-Off Time how the Scriptures seem to tell us that Jacob’s Trouble, the Tribulation, will begin on a moed BUT we are not appointed to stick around for that day.
If the Rapture were to occur on a festival, The Feast of Trumpets has always seemed the most likely to me as I shared In the Twinkling of an Eye, but Scripturally it is not certain whether the Rapture will occur on one of the Feasts of the Lord or not.
Two Moons Rapture
The sense I have regarding the timing of all these Pre-Rapture events is that they will be in close progression with some of them occurring simultaneously in a Great Convergence. We will be safely in our Lord’s hands as we trust in Him alone and, it is my understanding, we will walk in great glory for this brief period before our Heavenly Bridegroom sweeps us up to our Heavenly Home.
Part of that Great Convergence includes celestial signs. The recent Two Moon Rapture Dream Tyler at Generation 2434 YTC shares gives the sense of a convergence of things happening. (He shares related links also.)
Many believe and have reported that a looming planetary system will be the cause of the prophesied great earthquake and darkness. The Planet X or Nibiru system is likely related to the many dreams of moons or planets and a large comet appearing on the Day of the Rapture.
So when will this Great Convergence of Events happen so we can get outta here? It must be very soon now, Beloved in the Lord, as witnessed by all that is happening in the spiritual and geopolitical realms. For example, there is an upcoming Interfaith Climate Justice and Ceremony of Repentance being held in conjunction with the COP 27 meeting in Sinai, Egypt! How is THAT for a prophetic parallel to The Moses Pattern?!!!
Additionally, on October 25 Pope Francis will be leading world religious leaders in an interfaith Prayer Service for Peace during the three day event “The Cry for Peace” calling to mind 1 Thessalonians 5:3. Closer to home, recently Biden secretly signed an executive order unleashing the U.S. surveillance state on Americans. In Rapture Dream! Tipping Point and the Great Shaking…. Tim Henderson shares his prophetic dream where he is shown that Biden and leaders of other nations have signed into place an agreement to allow bio-implants that will go in the forehead or the right hand. They are setting everything in place in preparation for when the world will come under the rule of the son of perdition.

Returning to the Exodus analogy, let me conclude with this, dear Brethren. Know this and be encouraged--that just as Israel left Egypt not as fear-filled slaves but as richly victorious children of God, the Overcoming Church will not be exiting this world as a defeated, panic-stricken retreating army, but will be caught up by her Kinsmen Redeemer and Holy Bridegroom as a glorious Warrior Bride in shining victory!
