WILL WE FLY FREE AT THE JUBILEE?!

 

Jubilee. . . comes from the Hebrew word yovel (יובל), which means

ram’s horn and refers to the final blast of the shofar on Yom Kippur.

In THIS COULD BE IT! “I admit my expectations might be wrong, but I am still watching for major earthly events to occur leading up to Rosh Hashanah that will be the catalyst for a brief awakening, the Harvest coming to completion, then the Catching Away of the Man Child/Bride.”

 

Rosh Hashanah has come and gone, right? Wrong!

 

At least not according to some Biblical researchers like T. W. Tramm who are saying that this Hebrew Year of 5783 quite possibly is a Jubilee which could mean the Feast of Trumpets is to be celebrated on Yom Kippur! Dr. Barry Awe recently posted a 32-minute video explaining this, Biblical proof 5783 is Jubilee in God's reckoning!

 

According to the Talmud, which is made up of the Mishnah and the Gemara and is the source from which the code of Jewish Halakhah (law) is derived, Rosh Hashana is to be observed on the Day of Atonement in a Jubilee Year:     

 

It was taught in the mishna: Yom Kippur of the Jubilee Year is the same as Rosh Hashana with regard to both the shofar blasts that are sounded and the additional blessings that are recited in the Amida prayer. [excerpt from Talmud, section Rosh Hashanah 27a]

 

To those who are watching for the Heavenly Bridegroom Jesus Christ to come during the Year of the Bride to catch away the Overcoming Church, this is exciting news. If the Rapture of the Church is to occur on a moed or feast day, as many believe, then Rosh Hashanah seems to be the perfect one. Israel already celebrated Rosh Hashanah in September, yet it is possible that God will observe it on Yom Kippur if this a Jubilee Year!

 

The significance of the Jubilee, in a nutshell, is it is a time of REDEMPTION when those who were sold into servitude were able to GO HOME! (See Leviticus 25.)

 

In researching for this article I came across a VERY INTERESTING fact. Leviticus 25:10 is engraved on the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia:

 

Perhaps the least known part of its history, and the most intriguing, is that it was the abolitionists who gave the Liberty Bell its famous name. The bell is inscribed with Leviticus 25:10, “Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof.” The verse refers to the Year of Jubilee when slaves were to be set free in accordance with Hebrew tradition. William Lloyd Garrison, abolitionist and publisher of The Liberator, seizing upon the verse’s true context, re-printed a poem, “The Liberty Bell,” in 1844. The poem’s potent line “Ring it, til the slave be free” was a rebuke; that despite its inscription, the bell did not proclaim liberty to all the inhabitants of the land so long as slavery was allowed to persist. The State House bell, now known as the Liberty Bell, rang in the tower of the Pennsylvania State House in Philadelphia. Today, we call that building Independence Hall.

Hmmmm, Independence Hall in Philadelphia—isn’t that where the supposed leader of the free world gave his notorious speech on the “Continued Battle for the Soul of the Nation”?

The name of the wooden structure that holds this famous bell is called a yoke. While Joseph Biden attempts to bind his yoke of oppression over people, our Heavenly Father will break free from the yoke of this Egypt-type world any who make Jesus Christ their Lord (Romans 10:9). Could it be that this month begins a Jubilee, a time of redemption, to be proclaimed on Yom Kippur when those who are sealed unto the Day of Redemption, will fly home?!

In Rapture Cut-Off Time I deduced that the Old Testament could be pointing to the Day of Atonement for the start of The Seven-Year Tribulation:

 

Joel 2:15 = Yom Kippur = Jacob’s Trouble Begins?

 

Now I want to admit that my understanding could be incorrect, but it appears Joel 2:15 marks where The Day of the Lord--Jacob’s Trouble--The Tribulation begins for it describes a solemn assembly:

 

Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: - Joel 2:15 KJV

 

Both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are announced with the blowing of the trumpet. Both moedim or appointed times are associated with judgment (as noted above); however, it is the time of Yom Kippur when fasting is called for along with a solemn assembly:

 

"The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. You are to hold a sacred assembly and practice self-denial; you are to present a fire offering to the LORD. - Leviticus 23:27 CSB

 

There were many reasons for blowing trumpets in ancient Israel and I would not connect a particular feast with the trumpets of the Book of Joel except for the fact that the primary subject of this book is The Day of the Lord which will call for the fulfilling of God’s appointed times.

 

Assuming that Joel 2:15’s trumpet is announcing Yom Kippur, then both Joel 2:15 and Joel 1:13 point to the start of Jacob’s Trouble.

 

Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God. - Joel 1:13 KJV

 

Compare this verse with Jeremiah’s prophecy:

 

Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? - Jeremiah 30:6 KJV

Alas! for that day [is] great, so that none [is] like it: it [is] even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. - Jeremiah 30:7 KJV

 

Recently, Bob Barber in his video God's Decree to Upgrade Shemetah Cycle to Daniel's 70th Week on Day of Atonement! Rapture! gives some interesting perspective saying that on September 27-28 the midnight cry of “The Bridegroom Cometh!” was sounded giving people Ten Days of Awe wherein to become ready before Yom Kippur—the Day of Judgment!

 

Bob mentions the Parable of the Ten Virgins. In Is the Rapture Earned? I write about who these ten virgins might be. In an addendum to the article, I shared this from Unsealed:

Don’t Give Up the Watch!

 

According to hebcal.com, Yom Kippur for the Hebrew Year 5783 begins at sundown on Tuesday, 4 October 2022 and ends at nightfall on Wednesday, 5 October 2022. HOWEVER, our watch could be extended, because the glint of the new crescent moon was not actually sighted until September 27 meaning Yom Kippur would fall instead on October 6-7, 2022.

 

We have been here before and we may be here again (as far as HIGH WATCH DATES), but one thing is for sure—WE SEE THE DAY RAPIDLY APPROACHING! So, let us not give up the watch, Brethren, for one day JESUS OUR HOPE SHALL APPEAR!!!
