The Harvest and The Wedding

Those who have been awakened by the Holy Spirit to know events are converging for the Resurrection/Rapture and are fervently watching have seen great evidence of a possible Pentecost Rapture. At first, speculating on this date did not make sense to me (see The Rapture Mystery for my musings).

The timing of His Appearing could still be on a day that is otherwise uneventful; however, I could not pass by these recent discoveries related to Shavuot (or Pentecost) without sharing them:

The 100 Day Count

The folks at the Rev12Daily blogspot brought my attention to the very real possibility that the fullness of Pentecost is a 100-day count (check out the Comments under Prepping for Pentecost).

Then today I watched THE GOOD NEWS!!! by Brother John at Watchman for that Great Day Youtube Channel. He also brought up the 100-day count saying this is what was referred to in Acts as “when the day of Pentecost was fully come”.

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. - Acts 2:1 KJV

This got me digging and I found some very compelling information at worldslastchance.com. Here’s a partial synopsis from their section titled, “Evidence Favoring: 7 Complete Weeks + 50 Days”:

Proof #1—The Fourth Month

A study of John's narration indicates that Yahushua likely said this around the time of the Passover (i.e. the First Month). This means that Yahushua believed that the wheat would not be ready to harvest until about the middle of Summer. No one argued with Him!

In order to maintain that the 9th day of the third lunation is the correct date for observing Pentecost, we must believe that the scene at the well here (John 4) took place in winter. This does not seem reasonable, as the chronology of John's narrative as well as the context of Yahushua's conversation with the woman at the well strongly suggests that a pilgrimage feast was at hand.

It is worth noting Fenton's literal translation of the Greek text. Fenton suggests that Yahushua actually stated plainly that the wheat harvest took place in the "fourth month."

"Do you not say, 'The harvest comes with the fourth month'? See! Look up, I tell you, and survey the fields; for they are already white for harvesting." (John 4:35, Fenton) [Excerpt from worldslastchance.com]

(NOTE: To look this up go to: Digital Fenton Translation.)

Unlike today's method, in early times the grain harvest had to begin before the grain was fully ripe so that it would not fall out of the husk prematurely, for instance, while it was being cut. Even though it was harvested earlier, the grain was sufficiently developed to ripen on its own, but the important element to note is that the husk still held the grain securely until it dried, hardened, and was ready to go through a process known as threshing.

Christ provides a clue as to when it was the best time to cut the grain in John 4:35: . . . His statement gives us information about when the harvest began in those days: The cutting, no doubt, began when the crop was "white." This is the transition color between the green of immature grain and the golden brown of fully ripe grain. At this stage, when the grain is still white, a reaper, using a very sharp sickle, cut down the standing grain. bibletools.org

Proof #2—Moses at Mount Sinai

According to the Scriptures, Moses and the children of Israel arrived at Mt. Sinai on the 50th Day since The Feast of Firstfruits:

In Exodus 19:1, we read: "In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai." From this we learn, that Israel arrived at Mt. Sinai on the 15th day of the Third Month. We can know this because Moses tells us that they arrived on the same day of the month that they had left Egypt, which was the 15th (Num. 33:3). This means that Israel arrived at Mt. Sinai exactly 7 days after the "seventh complete Sabbath," which is always the 8th day of the Third Month. . .

If we continue reading, we see that the Israelites were commanded by Moses to consecrate themselves and wash their clothes for they were to meet with Yahuwah - in 3 days. "For on the third day, Yahuwah will come down upon Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people" (Ex 19:10-11). By this we can conclude that Yahuwah descended on Mt Sinai in the sight of all the people exactly 10 days after the "seventh complete Sabbath" (8th day of Third Month + 7 days + 3 days).

In Exodus 20:18-21, we read that the Israelites were terrified at the presence of Yahuwah, so they ask Moses to speak to Yahuwah for them. Moses then ascends the mountain, where he remains for "forty days and forty nights" (Ex. 24:18). After 40 days, Moses descends Mt. Sinai with the Ten Commandments Law of Yahuwah (Deut. 9:9-12). From this, we can conclude with certainty that Moses descended Mt. Sinai with the Commandments EXACTLY 50 days after the "seventh complete Sabbath" (8th day of Third Month + 7 days + 3 days + 40 days). Amazing!

. . . It is worth noting also that Aaron (the high priest), one day earlier, somehow knew to proclaim a "feast to Yahuwah" on this very day - EXACTLY 50 days after the "seventh complete Sabbath."
"And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, Tomorrow is a feast [Strong's H2282] to Yahuwah." (Ex 32:5)

  • "feast" = Strong's H2282 [khag]; Khag is consistently used throughout Scripture to denote a pilgrimage feast. . .  Note: Yahuwah does not reprimand His high priest [Aaron] for proclaiming a feast on the wrong day; rather Yahuwah cites idolatry as the reason for His anger. (Ex. 32:7-9Deut.9:16, 20)

Moses descended the mountain with the Ten Commandments Law of Yahuwah on the same day that Aaron (the high priest) somehow knew to proclaim a "feast [khag] to Yahuwah." This took place EXACTLY 50 DAYS AFTER THE "SEVENTH COMPLETE SABBATH"! [Excerpt from worldslastchance.com]

Proof #3—The New Wine

Brother John pointed out that the mockers referred to “new wine” when the disciples spoke in tongues on the day of Pentecost:

Here is what worldslastchance.com wrote:

Scripture continually associates the wheat harvest with the grape harvest, both taking place in the Summer. The "new wine" spoken of in Acts Chapter 2 would not have been available in the Third Month (Spring).
"And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. . . . [Some] mocking said, ‘These men are full of new wine. [Strong's G1098]’" (Acts 2:3-4, 13)

·         "new wine" = Strong's G1098 = denotes sweet "new wine" (The New Strong's Dictionary of Bible Words)

[This ends my excerpts from worldslastchance.com, but if you are interested they give additional evidence to proclaim that the count to the Feast of Weeks is 7 Sabbaths Complete + 50 days.]

In the account of Ruth and Boaz, we see that the barley harvest overlapped into the beginning of the wheat harvest.

So she kept fast by the maidens of Boaz to glean unto the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and dwelt with her mother in law. - Ruth 2:23 KJV

This is true of the fruit harvest as well. The mention of new wine at Pentecost is pointing to early to mid-Summer when the wheat harvest would be concluding and the grape harvest beginning. New wine is only available at the beginning of the grape harvest!

Pentecost and Joel 2 Prophecy

Stephanie Dawn made important observations in her article: Pentecost--The Feast That Ties Everything Together For the Church the first of which was how Pentecost marks a dispensational change:

Note how Pentecost/Shavuot seems to introduce new dispensations – first, the Dispensation of Law (Mosaic covenant), then the Dispensation of Grace (Spirit of the Law).  Will it also introduce the interim dispensation of wrath (the Day of the Lord, commonly called the “Tribulation”, which seems to involve both Law and Grace)?

In Part 3 of her article, Stephanie writes, “Peter affirms that the Holy Spirit coming at Pentecost was a partial fulfillment of Joel’s prophecy”. How astute of her to notice this!

The end of the Holy Spirit’s sealing ministry in the church will be marked by wonders in the heavens, signs on the earth, blood, fire, vapor of smoke, darkened sun, and a blood red moon.  These events clearly did not occur on the first Pentecost, so why would Peter mention them in his sermon – on Pentecost?  Could it be that he is announcing the future fulfillment of the remainder of Joel’s prophecy on some future Pentecost?

The Wedding of Ruth

The account of Ruth and Boaz is a prophetic picture of the wedding of the mostly-Gentile Church Bride and our Kinsman Redeemer Jesus. In the above video, Brother John shared that Boaz and Ruth were married after the grain harvest was completed!

So she kept fast by the maidens of Boaz to glean unto the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and dwelt with her mother in law. - Ruth 2:23 KJV

That means late Spring or early Summer!

Six Measures of Barley

Also notice that Boaz accepted Ruth’s request for marriage and gave her six measures of barley:

And she lay at his feet until the morning: and she rose up before one could know another. And he said, Let it not be known that a woman came into the floor. Also he said, Bring the vail that [thou hast] upon thee, and hold it. And when she held it, he measured six [measures] of barley, and laid [it] on her: and she went into the city. - Ruth 3:14-15 KJV

And she said, These six [measures] of barley gave he me; for he said to me, Go not empty unto thy mother in law. - Ruth 3:17 KJV

The Bible specifically gives the number, even though it doesn’t tell the size of the measure. What is it about the number six and what is it about barley rather than wheat that the Bible is trying to tell us? The number six, according to EW Bullinger, “…has to do with man; it is the number of imperfection; the human number; the number of MAN as destitute of God, without God, without Christ.” As he says, “it is certain that man was created on the sixth day, and thus he has the number six impressed upon him. Moreover, six days were appointed to him for his labour; while one day is associated in sovereignty with the Lord God, as His rest.”

Insightful as ever, Bullinger rightly tied the number six in with labors and that at the end of the labors there is the anticipation of “the Lord God, and His rest.” It is exactly what Naomi was seeking for Ruth, and thus implicitly, for herself through Ruth.” One cannot enter rest until the work is done. . .

In an astute observation, Lange gives us these words to consider concerning what this is showing us – “Naomi receives what she may take as an intimation that the time has come, when after long labor she must let Ruth go out free. The day of rest is at hand.”

. . . That explains the number six, but why barley? The reason for specifying barley is because of what barley pictures. First, it is a picture of the resurrection of Christ because barley was what was presented at the Feast of Firstfruits. [Excerpt from a 2014 article by Charlie Garrett  superiorword.org]

As Mr. Garrett pointed out: Bullinger rightly tied the number six in with labors and that at the end of the labors there is the anticipation of “the Lord God, and His rest”.

This, of course, brings to mind how 6 days is 6,000 years that man will toil and have dominion over the earth (2 Peter 3:8). Seven years before the completion of the 6,000 years, Jesus has promised to come and whisk the Church Bride away to a place He has prepared for us and to our wondrous wedding!

Naomi assures Ruth that because of all that Boaz said and did Ruth need not fear because it meant he promised to see it to completion!

Then said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day. - Ruth 3:18 KJV

Matthew Henry in his Commentary writes:

Naomi believes that Ruth has won his heart, and that therefore he will not be easy till he knows whether she be his or no. This she gives as a reason why Ruth should sit still and not perplex herself about it, that Boaz had undertaken it, and he would be sure to manage it well. blb.org

How much more should be our confidence then, Brethren! Our Kinsman Redeemer Jesus Christ has sealed us with His Spirit as a promise of our Redemption and Wedding Day—He will see our marriage to its completion! Our Day of Rest is at hand!

On April 28, 2020, Stephanie Dawn posted a related article at unsealed.org: Another Feast Of "Unknown Day And Hour"? (Pentecost Study Part 3). Here is an excerpt:

Summary: Possible Dates for Pentecost 2020

For those of you who prefer a summary:

Sadduccees: May 31, 2020 (8 Sivan)
The Sadduccees begin the countdown of the Feast of Weeks on the first Sunday after Passover.  This Sunday always falls within the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

Pharisees: May 29, 2020 (6 Sivan)
The Pharisees begin the countdown of the Feast of Weeks on the day after Passover.  Since Passover occurs on Nisan 15, a fixed date of Sivan 6 is used for Shavuot (Pentecost).

Essenes: June 7, 2020 (15 Sivan)
The Essenes begin the countdown of the Feast of Weeks on the Sunday after the Feast of Unleavened Bread.  Thus, it always falls a week after the date calculated by the Sadduccees.

Karaites: May 31, 2020 (8 Sivan)
The Karaites based their countdown of the Feast of Weeks on the ripeness of the first sheaves of barley.  Once barley ripeness was established, the Firstfruits offering could be made during the Feast of Unleavened Bread, on the day after the weekly Sabbath.  The Feast of Weeks countdown began at this Feast of Firstfruits.  In general, their method coincides with the Sadduccees.

It seems we may not clearly be able to know the Day of Pentecost, unless you can determine which view is correct!  I would suggest that this places Pentecost as a contender in the "feast that no one knows the day/hour" category; what do you think?

The Rapture Mystery

The Mystery of the Church

To be honest, I was struggling the other day trying to understand what it meant that those in Christ were a firstfruits offering and why we were still here! I asked the Lord for revelation and for Him to encourage me. Worshipful song went forth from my mouth to rid myself of the spirit of heaviness, and as I did so I felt He was leading me to study the word “mystery” in the Scriptures. What I saw did encourage me. Then later as I turned on Youtube, a Tim Henderson video popped up on my feed and one of the last things he said was, “We are a MYSTERY!”

Growing up in this Age of Grace we forget the amazing mystery that is the Ecclesia of Christ or True Church (see aggressivechristianity.net’s article The Correct Meaning of "Church" and "Ecclesia" if you are unsure who the True Church is.)

Before Christ’s death, the Church Age of Grace was unknown. Why? Because God wanted it to be a secret:

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. - 1 Corinthians 2:7-8 KJV

Amos 3:7 tells us that God does nothing without revealing His plan to His prophets, BUT HERE IS AN EXCEPTION! For had the mystery of Jew and Gentile becoming one in Christ been revealed (Ephesians 3:6), the Adversary would have known God’s entire plan of redemption for man and would not have killed our precious Jesus.

Each individual who makes Jesus their Lord receives Christ in them! Now the Devil has a bunch of Jesus-types running around on the earth messing with his plans:

[Even] the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: - Colossians 1:26-27 KJV

The reason the Spirit of Christ within us is ‘the hope of glory’ is because it is the earnest or guarantee that He will be coming back to redeem us:

In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. - Ephesians 1:13-14 KJV

The Mystery of the Rapture

A mystery is inclusionary. It is used many times in Scripture and it means that its understanding is available to anyone who takes the time to discover it. Whereby, a secret is exclusionary. It is one that is well-kept and remains hidden. God can know it but we cannot. 4windsusa.com

God revealed the mystery of the Rapture to Paul; however, I believe He did not give away the actual date for good reason. Here are two pictures of why the Rapture’s timing may remain a secret until it happens:

º  In a Hebrew wedding only the father knows the hour he will send his son to catch away his bride. I believe this may be the case with the Catching Away of the Bride of Christ as well.

º  In childbirth, which is another analogy of the Rapture of the Man Child (Revelation 12:5), no one knows the exact hour of the birth of a child delivered naturally.

We are not in the dark so when that day comes it will not totally surprise us (1 Thessalonians 5:4). HOWEVER, just as Father God strategically kept the Church a secret from Satan before Christ died, I think God wants the exact time of the Rapture to be a strategic secret.

God’s End Time Strategy

As most of you know, we are in a great spiritual war and strategy is key. In fact, part of the definition of ‘strategic’ is “relating to the gaining of overall or long-term military advantage”.

As I studied, I learned that the Resurrection/Rapture of the Church is a military action by God.

“But every man in his own order”

The word “order” is translated from the Greek word tagma meaning “that which has been arranged in order, a division, rank” and signifies a military division. There are two tagma or “ranks” of the resurrection host; the Captain and the rest of the army now sleeping, to rise at His trumpet’s sound (1 Corinthians 15:521 Thessalonians 4:16).

1 Corinthians Chapter 15’s ‘last trump’ has a dual meaning.

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. - 1 Corinthians 15:52 KJV

It became a tradition for the shofar to be sounded 100 times during The Feast of Trumpets:

A distinguishing feature of the celebration is the last, climactic blast, the Teki'at Shofar. This is not the usual series of short bursts, signalling alarm or bad news. Rather, it is a long blast, signalling victory or good news. It is this last blast that is referred to as the last trump. khouse.org

This is how the idiom "The Last Trump" became associated with Rosh Hashanah. It is a man-made idiom that is NOT based on Scripture. . .

HOWEVER, "the last trump" also can refer to a military signal:

For one thing, it’s interesting that Paul refers to the last trump in1 Corinthians 15 and in the immediately preceding chapter,1 Corinthians 14, he refers to the blowing of a trumpet and there he’s referring to a military trumpet. In light of that, it would appear that he has military trumpets in mind when he’s writing 1 Corinthians 15. So it could very well be that when he refers to the last trump which will be blown at the Rapture, he has a military trumpet in mind. What’s the significance of that?

When you study the Roman army and some of the Greek armies and even the Jewish army back in Bible times, when they went into war, they had a “last trump” that would be blown that would tell the fighting men, “Your time of fighting is over. It is time for you to go home and rest.” A “last trump” ended their time in the warfare.

By analogy, the Scriptures teach that Christians today are involved in a spiritual war while they live out their lives in this present age in this present world. When the Rapture takes place and the trumpet is blown at that time, that will be a signal to them that their part in the warfare is over; their fighting in this present age is done in this spiritual war. It is time for them to go home to be with the Lord and rest together with Him in Heaven. jashow.org

Does the Rapture Fulfill a Feast?

Because we have passed the 71st Anniversary of Israel’s replanting and entered the time of its inspection, I too have been looking at all the connections the Feast of Pentecost has with the Rapture; but have you noticed that EVERY feast that requires assembling before the Lord has prophetic foreshadowing of the Rapture connected with it?

There are three times that God required His people to assemble before Him:

Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.

Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)

And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, [which is] in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. - Exodus 23:14-16 KJV

Each of these three feasts also coincides with a harvest season that requires a firstfruits offering.

If I am understanding it correctly, the Expositor's Greek Testament explains that Christ’s resurrection was only the first of a two-part process; therefore, He was the first of the firstfruits of the BARLEY HARVEST and those who are “in Christ” are the second part.

Firstfruits of Barley or Wheat Harvest?

As I mentioned above, Christ was the first of the firstfruits of the BARLEY HARVEST and those who are “in Christ” are the second part. If the Rapture of the Church is to fulfill a feast, it seems it would be to complete the barley harvest which gives us a picture of the Rapture because in order to separate the grain from the chaff, the soft barley is winnowed, or tossed into the air.

Contrast that to the wheat crop which is trampled upon with a tribulum to separate the hard wheat grain from its chaff (tribulum = tribulation).

tribulum was a Roman tool used for threshing wheat and was probably pulled by oxen. It resembles a sled with the bottom studded with teeth of stone or iron. They are still in use in some remote rural areas of the world today.

Are we prophetically the second part of the Barley Firstfruits or are we the firstfruits of the final Pentecost Wheat Harvest?

The Rapture - A Mystery Revealed Through Paul PDF by crbible.com gives an excellent overview of Matthew 24 especially explaining verses 37-41 and how the Church cannot be the wheat that is gathered.

Five Doves was another source that summarized the firstfruits:

. . . There are firstfruits from each harvest; one firstfruits from the Church Age and one firstfruits from after the Church Age. (or after the Rapture)
The Barley firstfruits  is the bride-church.  The Wheat Firstfruits are 144,000 Jewish Male Virgins from the tribes, the remain after the Church is caught up. Both bride of Christ and 144,000 are firstfruits, but firstfruits from different harvests! Many Christians think they are part of the 144,000, but they cannot be, because they are a CHRISTIAN, they are part of the first of all firstfruits, they are part of the Barley Harvest! Jesus the head- the church the body!

. . . Again, there are 2 firstfruits, the bride is the barley firstfruits, the 144,000 are the wheat, and they will come on the scene at Pentecost!

There is so much teaching on this it is too lengthy to go into today, best to just view video series. . .

What About Feast of Trumpets?

What is interesting to add to the mix is that there is NO FIRSTFRUITS offering associated with ROSH HA SHANAH/FEAST OF TRUMPETS!

My understanding leans toward The Feast of Trumpets being fulfilled in Israel where all previous festivals were completed and that it might be the day that the KING of Kings and LORD of Lords comes with His Great Army to the earth (Revelation 19:11; Zechariah 14:4).

Does this mean we will have to wait until the Spring Passover Season of 2020 before we are Raptured? Mmmmm….I don’t think so. Read on.

Indications We ARE Close

No matter which firstfruits offering the Church belongs to, no matter whether the Rapture does or does not fulfill any Feast of the Lord, there is much indicating we are so very close to the Catching Away of the Bride of Christ!

Ty Green has been following “The Ultimate Deal” Peace Plan posting two videos yesterday related to it. In the first 10 minutes of his Think They're Not Going to Divide Jerusalem, Think Again video, he presents Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s predicament of having to face another election.

On the same day Ty posted a 2-1/2 minute video that says it all: Not Going To Stop Us—sharing the recent meeting of Jared Kushner with Netanyahu. The following excerpt explains:

In a move that stunned Israelis, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu failed to form a government by a Wednesday night deadline, and instead of giving a rival the chance to do so, his party advanced a bill to dissolve the Knesset, Israel’s parliament. The move means Israel will hold new elections on Sept. 17, less than six months after its April 9 vote.
Netanyahu addressed the political turmoil as he met with Kushner in Jerusalem.

“And, you know, we had a little event last night,” the prime minister said. “That’s not going to stop us. We are going to continue working together.”

The White House is running short of time to release its plan for how to solve the decades-long conflict between Israel and the Palestinians before the 2020 U.S. election campaign kicks into full swing. Analysts say Netanyahu is unlikely to want to address thorny political issues or the prospect of any concessions with the Palestinians during an Israeli campaign.

. . . “I think the Trump peace plan is on ice indefinitely now,” said Dan Shapiro, a former U.S. ambassador to Israel under the Barack Obama administration. “They already understood that they couldn’t roll out a peace plan during an Israeli election or government formation, so now the same logic is going to apply. Anything in the plan that has the slightest hint of a concession or a hard ask to Israel will be political dynamite during a campaign.”

That could push back the release of the political component of the plan until at least November, Shapiro said, when the makeup of the Israeli government should become clear. But Trump will then be deep into his own reelection effort.

The White House is beginning the rollout of the plan by holding an economic workshop in Bahrain in late June, with the political component expected to follow.

“We are not anticipating any changes,” State Department spokeswoman Morgan Ortagus said of the economic summit. “We anticipate it’s still going on.” The Washington Post

Here are a couple of speculative scenarios. . . Maybe God will allow pride to rise up and President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu will push this Peace Plan through this year despite elections coming up.

OR

Perhaps the Ezekiel 38 war will commence before either the Israeli or United States elections are held leaving the Peace Plan unsigned and becoming the Daniel 9:27 covenant the Antichrist confirms:

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. - Daniel 9:27 KJV

In my opinion either scenario would equal RAPTURE TIME for the Overcoming Church!

More Heavenly Signs--Jupiter

Our Brother in Christ Paul Dawson (REVELATIONCHAPTER12dotCOM) pointed out that the planet Jupiter has been of special interest of late due to its disappearing Great Red Spot (GSR). As I thought on how Jupiter represents Christ with its many stripes and gaping ‘wound’ (now apparently ‘healing’), it came into my spirit that Jesus took that wound for His Bride. Just as the first Adam had his side opened for God to create Eve (Adam’s bride), Jesus’ side was also opened for His Bride. But any day now, He will be receiving His Bride. She will join Him and complete Him; therefore, the wound (and the door of the Ark) is closing!

The Significance of May 20th

As I sought Him this past Saturday morning, the Spirit of the Lord led me to read in Exodus 20. Whenever I read Exodus, it makes me think of how God will catch His people away from the world one day soon:

I [am] the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. - Exodus 20:2 KJV

Exodus Pentecost

But as I read Chapter 20 I realized that this account was about what happened on Mount Sinai during Shavuot, known to most as Pentecost.

Shavuot is a two-day Jewish holiday that falls on the Hebrew calendar dates of Sivan 6–7. . .
Shavuot 2018 begins at sundown on Shabbat, May 19, and concludes at nightfall on Monday, May 21. The 10 Commandments are read on May 20. chabad.org
My prayer time ran out as my five-year-old granddaughter needed my attention. As I was about to turn my computer off, I checked my email and saw a text that I had forwarded but forgot about. It was a prophetic word a friend sent me. The following is only a small excerpt:

GREAT HARVEST Begins Pentecost 2018
You see on Easter Sunday the Lord told me 50 days on Pentecost Sunday revival & awakening is going to breakthrough & the great harvest was going to start. I prophesied this after Easter. The 50 days would be May 20, 2018.

I set this word aside; yet, here I was coming across it this day He had led me to read about the Exodus Pentecost!

It would seem the Spirit of the Lord is reiterating that the SEASON OF THE OVERCOMER—the time of the Great Harvest—is about to begin!

The Great Harvest has a double meaning, I believe. It is speaking of the end time harvest of souls AND it is speaking of the 3-PART HARVEST before the Messiah’s Second Coming to earth. That is why in the above rhema He said, “LOOK UP!” SEASON OF THE OVERCOMER

Pentecost Wedding

Today as I sought the Lord further, I remembered that Pentecost was when  ×™ְ×”ֹוָ×”YÄ•hovah MARRIED Israel:

Because God desired a special people in the earth who would have the glory of God upon them, God called Abraham and made a covenant with him. The covenant that God made with Abraham was physical and it was spiritual. This covenant was not only with Abraham but also with the descendants of Abraham (Genesis 17:7). The physical descendants of Abraham are the children of Israel. The spiritual descendants of Abraham are all those who profess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (Galatians 3:16, 29). . .

At Mount Sinai, God married the nation of Israel by betrothing Himself to them (Jeremiah 2:1-3). . . waytozion.org/brideofchrist/chap 7/edchumney

Jeremiah 2:1-3 records that on Shavuot—Pentecost—God betrothed Himself to (married) Israel. Verse 2 uses the Hebrew word kÄ•luwlah (espousal/betrothal) and it is the ONLY USAGE in the Old Testament!

The Scriptures indicate that it is the Overcoming Church who will be the Bride of Christ. Will Pentecost 2018 be when the Bride MARRIES the Heavenly Bridegroom? The Scriptures do not promise this at all, but for the Lord to bring all this conjoining information to my attention, I know the Heavenly Wedding cannot be far off and is very much on His mind as it is on mine!

As my caveat at the end of my blog articles indicates, I do not pretend to have the end times all figured out. I believe there is a remnant of people, born of incorruptible seed, who will be snatched up to meet their King and Bridegroom  just BEFORE the sudden destruction of the wrath of the Lamb (1 Thessalonians 5:3-4).

Rapture Watchers today posted a summation of world events with excerpts from J.D. Farag's May 10 Urgent Bible Prophecy Update. J. D. also recommends a movie that is now available on Amazon Prime called The Coming Convergence which is about this coming sudden destruction. How long God chooses to have His Overcomers upon the earth in these turbulent times is uncertain, but it won’t be much longer!

"The Lord has shown me and many others within the Body of Christ that the exponential increase in catastrophic disasters and war will be the impetus for the Great Harvest." Gold Falling on the Gentiles!

Caveat: This blog is an attempt to share my spiritual journey and my understanding of the Scriptures. In the past few years that learning curve has been mostly in eschatology or the study of the end times. I do not pretend to have this all figured out. Also, I do not necessarily agree with all the beliefs of anyone whose material I reference. I seek to be led of the Spirit of God as to the sources I use, however, even Spirit-filled Christians only 'see in part' as it says in 1 Corinthians 13:12.

SEASON OF THE OVERCOMER!

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. - Luke 10:2 KJV

Beloved Brethren, today I received one of the most clear and exciting words from the Most High God! It came to me as I worshipped Him on the treadmill. I was listening to a song I had never heard before and was deeply focused on Him. It began with a phrase—"Season of The Overcomer”.

I quickly turned off the machine and jumped down to grab my journal. This is what I heard Him say:

On this day seven years ago a tsunami swept over Japan. Today the Spirit of the Lord is saying NOW is the time for the great tidal wave of My Spirit!

Look to see ME in the chaos!
Look to see ME in the mess!
Look to see ME in My people

As they arise as a great tidal wave of My glory over this land and over this world.

Spoils of Egypt!
Spoils of Egypt!

I will cause My people to take the spoil of souls in the world! This is their last battle before entering the Promised Land—to conquer evil by harvesting souls I have prepared to receive Me in this hour.

So fear not My Beloved!
Fear not the wars!
Fear not the natural disasters

For I am in the midst Dear Ones!
I AM in the midst of the judgment coming upon the world. It is My great mercy to grab a hold of the lost before My great wrath is poured upon the earth.

REJOICE!
REJOICE!

LOOK UP!
LOOK UP!

This is what you have been waiting for!
MY MOVE upon the earth!
Not man’s but MY MOVE!
Rejoice for I am coming for you My Loved Ones.
I am coming in the midst of the mess and pulling you out at My Father’s bidding.

The Great Harvest begins! REJOICE!

Oh no I am NOT finished with the world yet!
My latter rain is NOT finished yet!
I AM THE LATTER RAIN!
And I will flood the earth with My glory through My people before the end.

This movement will have NO NAME attached to it. It will sweep across the world swiftly. It is the SEASON OF THE OVERCOMER!

Does this rhema resonate with your spirit?

It gave me much encouragement for I had recently been seeking the Lord asking, “What’s next?” I wanted to know not just for myself but to edify others.

He’s in the Midst of the Chaos

Some years back I asked the Holy Spirit to shed light on whatever area of my life He wished. In a vision He took me to a day in my childhood that was very fearful and painful for me and my siblings. It was a summer day when we were forced to escape our home and seek safety by going to a familiar hill where we went sledding in the winter. I thought we were alone, but in the vision I saw Jesus was there leading us by the hand up the hill to safety.

He was in the midst of our terror holding our hands! Whatever is ahead in the days to come, we need not fear—only believe!

We are not only in the Season of Miracles, but the Season of The Overcomer! This is HIS time. Remember it was Jesus who was the First to Overcome—He is THE Overcomer!

Judgment

There is no need to fear this time of judgment upon the earth if you have made Jesus Christ your Lord. Judgment is not His wrath. It is a time of assessment that is the precursor to wrath. Judgment is a loving act of mercy intent on bringing people to repentance to avoid the punishment of wrath.

Judgment is like discipline—it’s not fun but it is GOOD and NECESSARY!

My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: - For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son [in whom] he delighteth. - Proverbs 3:11-12 KJV

Spoils of Egypt--SOULS

Jonathan Cahn spoke recently on the fight that comes before entering the promised land. He reminded us that Moses fought against high powers to free the Israelites from Egypt and Joshua had to fight the giants to take the promised land.

I had been asking the Lord, “What is our last battle?” and in this prophetic word He answered me! It is to conquer evil by gathering in lost souls for Him. He will send them to us in the midst of the chaos and mess of these last days.

The Great Harvest Begins

Today begins Daylight Savings Time in the United States. It was determined that clocks would “spring forward” one hour this time of year to allow farmers to take advantage of the daylight. Let us take advantage while the daylight is still here!

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. - John 9:4 KJV

In the past I, and many others, were shown this great harvest of souls in the last days. I now believe this will occur before our Heavenly Bridegroom comes to sweep us Home.

At some point in the midst of the turbulent times we live in, after He has swiftly moved upon people to bring them into salvation, Jesus will snatch His Bride up. I believe we will see MORE AND GREATER WAR, MORE AND GREATER EARTHQUAKES, more and greater whatever because God is mercifully going to get people’s attention that HE IS GOD!

Hope has a Name!

The song I was listening to (for the first time) when I received the above rhema, was Love Has a Name by Jesus Culture.

I realized after writing down the prophetic word, that the lyrics of the song matched this message. Some of these lyrics are:

Love has a name—Jesus.
Joy has a name—Jesus.
Victory has a name—Jesus.
Hope has a name—Jesus.

Because of the Father’s great LOVE for the people in the world, He sent His only begotten son, Jesus. Whoever believes on Jesus—makes Him the Lord of their life—receives the JOY of eternity. We are in the season where The Overcomer will VICTORIOUSLY move to claim a great harvest of souls. He will then snatch away His prize for He is our Blessed HOPE—JESUS!
