In The Revelation 12 Baby is Coming! I first shared about Joshua Mhlakela, a South African pastor, and his prophecy that the Rapture would occur this Feast of Trumpets, September 23-24, including confirmations from other Brethren. I’ve encouraged “cautious optimism” about this as I have continued to seek the Lord.
Deceiving spirit or True Visitation?
I want to believe him! After all, I believe God gave
me a dream hinting at a Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) Rapture OR pre-Sukkot
Rapture—see PEACE
& SAFETY and a dream of THE REVELATION 12 MAN CHILD; but I am hesitant
because I'm not sure whether Joshua is being tricked by a deceiving spirit or
he has had a genuine visitation. If Joshua is a Holy Spirit-filled believer in
Christ (which it seems to me he is), why would God allow him to be deceived in
such a way IF indeed it was not Jesus but a deceiving spirit who came to him?
I honestly do not know the answer to that question because
God gives only good gifts to His people. The only way that I am aware of that
Joshua would be confronted with a deceiving spirit is if there was some type of
open door to that realm that Joshua is not aware of. I know very little about
him or his nation, but I’ve learned that South Africa is a country of great
cultural diversity in which there are many influences at work. Joshua admits to
having a limited knowledge in some Scriptural subjects (as we all do, of
course), so perhaps he has unknowingly opened a door to a deceiving spirit. It is
possible for a Spirit-filled Christian to be oppressed or influenced by an evil
spirit under certain circumstances.
I’m not writing this to discredit Joshua for I too believe
in prophecy and that our Lord Jesus Christ can give messages to the Body. What discernment
I have regarding Joshua is that his heart is genuine, but a person can be very
sincere yet (unbeknownst to them) not speak the truth.
Is this the case with Joshua? Is he a sincere man but has
been deceived? In an interview on Medic4Christ YTC (Brother Joshua - A
September to Remember) around 54:22 Joshua talks about testing the spirits,
so he is aware of the possibility of deception. He also tells listeners that
he posted his 2018 visitation of Jesus on his YouTube channel, Exodus 2025 (4-minute video: SEPTEMBER 23/24 2025 -
THE FINAL RAPTURE DATE AND THE END OF THE WORLD). As far as I know, though,
he does not explain why he waited until a month ago in the year 2025 to share
it.
OR
OR Joshua did have genuine visitations of the Lord
Jesus and my understanding of what the Lord has shown me is off somehow.
Metamorphoo or Allasso Transformation?
As I listened to Joshua’s video on his YouTube site, the
thought came to me that if Jesus DID tell Joshua the Rapture would come this
September, how would it fit with what Jesus has revealed to me and many others
of events that are to happen before the Rapture? Is my understanding
incorrect that the prophesied New Madrid earthquake associated with the declaration
of the Two-State Solution is NOT a Pre-Rapture event but is simultaneous with
the worldwide earthquake that will result at the Resurrection and Rapture of
Those in Christ?

It has, up to this point, been my understanding that at the time of the foretold New Madrid earthquake Spirit-sealed believers in Christ would experience walking in a powerful wave of God’s glory in a metamorphoo transformation. Could it be that there will be instead an allasso transformation (when we get our new bodies) where most of Those in Christ are harpazo-ed while a type of Gideon’s army of Christ’s Body is sent by Jesus into the world as it TRANSITIONS into the Tribulation?! Since the 1990’s, I have been called to prophesy of the coming Great Shaking that is to awaken those who are spiritually asleep (see my testimony in Is the Rapture Earned?).
I've said that Those in Christ will transform into a higher realm of glory and do great works during this brief season. It will be the fulfillment of John 14:12. (See my related article: Prophesied Events Before the Rapture regarding the difference between allasso and metamorphoo).
There will, however, be those
who call themselves Christians who will think God has forgotten them as America
then the rest of the world sinks deeper into the intense Transition of the
Great Shaking. They will be devastated unless they allow the Holy Spirit to do

My goal is to humbly and honestly set these things before
you, my Brothers and Sisters in Christ, to judge against the Scriptures and so
that you can pray in Jesus Christ’s name for clarity. These are such weird,
perilous, deceptive times we live in, so it is essential that we act
like the Body of Christ and build one another up NOT tear each other down. Yet
we are called to be wise and balanced in our walk in Christ.

CY here, I've taken my foot off the clutch and am just going to roll with it. But I don't have many people depending on my judgement. I've received many confirmations of a personal nature and I'm loving watching so many coming forth with their testimony. It's a phenomenon worthy of the times in which we live. They feel like people I'd like to spend eternity with.

I am glad that Lyn has asked those questions and ‘gone there’. I think she has spoken for many that would not or do not for various reasons. It does get sensitive at times and many feelings do get hurt, one way or another. And as Judi reminded us, it is sad how ugly some discussions with Brethren can get.
I do want and am giving Pastor Joshua the benefit of the doubt. But as Judi brought up the point, those of us that consider being ‘Mature’ or more Mature need to have extra vigilance for the sheep that are not. So, I think that it is a good thing to ask, question, and test at the cost of being seen as either instinctive or a bit judgmental?
I am reminded of how in the case of 2 Disciples of Jesus, there was the instance when Peter told Jesus, paraphrasing: ‘No, you will not go to the cross and die’. Then Jesus exposed where that disposition was coming from, Satan. What? It was and is an example of how in the very inner-circle of Jesus’ Ministry, there was and is Lucifer suggesting and influencing the cause.
The other Disciple was Judas, as we read. Imagine having the privilege of being with Jesus, the Creator walking amongst creation and Judas seeing all the miracles and wisdom being taught to the people. And yet, he was so persuaded by Lucifer, that it is stated that Lucifer entered into his very being, or got directly possessed. Now, this occurred after Judas gave himself over to betray Jesus for money, etc. Unbelievable. And there is the debate if Judas was ever ‘Saved’ to begin with.
Lyn’s question of how perhaps Brethren that are 100% convinced or presume a direct physical visitation or revelation is from Jesus or an Angel, could be the case of a misconception. Or it is the real deal as they say. So, as I often state, ‘Time will always tell the Truth’. If the Rapture event does not occur and the date comes-and-goes I would hope the Brother apologizes like everyone else has or should, being genuinely convinced of what one has seen and experienced.

And, as I wrote in The September 23-24, 2025, Rapture Prophecy , it will be a September to remember indeed if the Two-State Solution Domino is toppled by the UN!
I went to bed last night thinking maybe I will need to change my pen name soon. (I do see the flaw in that logic.) How about 'no more tears'
Gary & Jeff at Unsealed.org posted a really good message, which is very simple. IF brother Joshua truly heard from the Lord, what he states will come to pass. IF not, it will not. Then we will know. With that said, I do find it very peculiar at this years FOT and Fall Feast times, all the current events going on around the world AND so many sharing their personal confirmations about September 23/24 on YouTube. I think we can all agree this has never happened in past years.
