This week I was pulling together Scriptures and seeking the Lord as to a better understanding of the sequence of events that His people could expect to see before He comes for us. This article will probably be just the first part of what I want to share so that those who come by might have time to read it!
As I walked through the living room to head for my morning
cup of coffee my husband Tom was already catching up on current events by
watching Youtube. I stopped in my tracks, though, when I noticed the video he
was watching was announcing a celestial TRIPLE CONJUNCTION occurring this
weekend as reported in an article from space.com titled Don't
miss Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury shine in a triple-conjunction this weekend.
A spectacular gathering of bright
planets will be the chief celestial attraction in the evening sky this weekend as Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury appear
to crowd into tight quarters.
Low in the southwestern evening sky just 30 to 45 minutes after sundown, we'll be treated to what might be referred to as a celestial summit meeting, a triple conjunction, with the three planets fitting within a circle smaller than 5 degrees.
Brilliant Jupiter (magnitude –1.9), medium-bright Mercury (-0.9) and dimmer, yellow-white Saturn (+0.6) will be contained within a 5-degree circle from Jan. 8 to Jan. 12, appearing closest together on Sunday evening (Jan. 10).
The thought of Unsealed’s discovery of a possible Heavenly
Sign for Revelation 12:5 (the harpazo or Rapture of the Man Child/True
Church) occurring in February (see HARPAZO
Finally Pictured in the Sky? The CLIMACTIC MOMENT Is Almost Here!) came to
me and I wondered how or if this triple conjunction involving Mercury related
to it. Mercury is known as the Messenger, I remembered; and Gabriel, of course,
is God’s Messenger Archangel. The account in the Book of Daniel came to mind of
when Gabriel said:
O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and
understanding. At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came
forth, and I am come to shew [thee]; for thou [art] greatly beloved: therefore
understand the matter, and consider the vision. - Daniel 9:22-23 KJV
70 Years Accomplished in 2021
I didn’t think on this anymore until I came across a Comment by Charlie in DC today at the Rev12daily Blogspot. Charlie pointed out how in Chapter 9 of Daniel the expiration of the seventy years of desolations is related specifically to Jerusalem:
In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by
books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah
the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of
Jerusalem. - Daniel 9:2 KJV
He also pointed out that Jerusalem was declared
the capital of Israel on January 23, 1950, so that in 2021 Jerusalem will
have fulfilled seventy years since its establishment.
God inspects Israel after 70 years are fulfilled, so does
2021 mark the time of this inspection beginning?
For thus said Jehovah, Surely at the fulness of Babylon
-- seventy years -- I inspect you, and have established towards you My good
word, to bring you back unto this place. Jeremiah
29:10 Young's
Literal Translation
Daniel was also shown another seventy-year period:
Recall that the prophet Daniel said
the 70 weeks of years, including the final one (still future), would focus on
Israel and Jerusalem:
Daniel 9:24 “Seventy ‘sevens’
are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put
an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness,
to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place.
Barry Stagner reminds us that
because the Church wasn’t present for the first 69 weeks, it makes sense that
it is not present for the 70th week. [Excerpt from p. 433 of Revelation
and Bible Prophecy]
Gabriel, Messenger of Hope
Because Daniel understood the gravity of Israel’s captivity coming to an end, he set to praying and seeking God for greater understanding:
And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer
and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: - Daniel 9:3 KJV
So here we are in the period of time just prior to the
fulfillment of Jerusalem’s seventy years knowing that our worldly captivity is
soon to end and looking for the beginning of Daniel’s 70th Week,
also known as Jacob’s Trouble or The Tribulation. Just as Daniel did, we have
been searching the Scriptures and praying and some of us have even been fasting
in our eagerness to have more understanding of where we are in God’s timetable
especially as it relates to our Blessed Hope.
And what did God do in answer to Daniel’s prayer? He sent
the Archangel Gabriel to give Daniel a message of hope. Beloved Family in
Christ--this weekend we will see a heavenly representation of Gabriel meeting
with the Man Child/True Church with the threatening Dragon lurking nearby when
at 30 to 45 minutes after sundown we will witness the celestial summit meeting
of Jupiter, Saturn, and Mercury.
It should be noted that in biblical
astronomy certain characters can be represented multiple times, and individual
stars and planets tend to represent individuals (e.g., Venus:
Jesus Christ per Rev. 22:16; Jupiter: Christ at His first coming and the
Church at His second; Saturn: Satan; Mercury: Gabriel; Mars: Michael. . . [BREAKING:
The Third Gate Has Fallen In Israel As The Christmas Star Captivates The World
excerpt]
I believe God is shouting from the heavens a message of hope
just prior to the completion of Jerusalem’s seventy years to those who are
watching for the appearing of Jesus Christ. And coming this February 11-12 He has
given us a sign of our Beloved Bridegroom coming for His Bride with the
conjunction of Jupiter and Venus!
Next Event--the Rapture!
To add to my excitement, I came across an exposition by John
Gill wherein he explains that Daniel learned of the seventy years soon expiring
by reading the Book of Jeremiah-specifically Chapter 25 Verses 9 and 11:
Behold, I will send and take all the families of the
north, saith the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and
will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and
against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make
them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations. Jeremiah 25:9
KJV
And this whole land shall be a desolation, [and] an
astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
- Jeremiah 25:11 KJV
As the True Church looks for the Heavenly Bridegroom in this
auspicious year for the Holy City, look at what it says in the verse between
Jeremiah 25:9 and 11:
Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and
the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride,
the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle. - Jeremiah 25:10 KJV
Just prior to Jacob’s Trouble beginning, the Holy Bridegroom
will descend towards earth to call His Bride to Him:
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a
shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead
in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so
shall we ever be with the Lord. - 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 KJV
Just as the voice of the earthly bridegroom and bride were taken away from Israel during the Babylonian captivity, so will the voice of the Heavenly Bridegroom and Bride be taken away at the harpazo just before Daniel’s 70th Week!
