Recently I was seeking the Lord asking Him if He will come
for His Church Bride in 2017. He did not give me a direct “Yes” or “No” answer,
but I believe He wanted me to look into the Jubilee.
Many in the Jewish
community believe that 2017 does mark the beginning of a Jubilee:
Before
anyone ever thought Trump could win the US election or before he even thought
of saying he would move the embassy to Jerusalem something very interesting
happened here in Israel. The Sanhedrin has stated a while back that 2017 would
be a Jubilee Year for Israel. Now we are seeing it come to pass. The Jubilee
returns the land to the rightful owners, which is the Jews. thegoldenreport.net
Wikipedia has very interesting information related to the Jubilee:
If 2017 is a Jubilee year, it most likely will be the FINAL one if Genesis 6:3 means that God has given 120 Jubilees or 6,000 years for mankind to rule earth.
The Jubilee (Hebrew: יובל yūḇāl; Yiddish: yoyvl) year is the year at the end of seven cycles of shmita (Sabbatical years), and according to Biblical regulations had a special impact on the ownership and management of land in the Land of Israel; there is some debate whether it was the 49th year (the last year of seven sabbatical cycles, referred to as the Sabbath's Sabbath), or whether it was the following (50th) year.[excerpt Wikipedia.org]
If 2017 is a Jubilee year, it most likely will be the FINAL one if Genesis 6:3 means that God has given 120 Jubilees or 6,000 years for mankind to rule earth.
And
the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also
[is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. Genesis 6:3 KJV
What is a Jubilee?
What exactly is a Jubilee? The Biblical Jubilee was a
year-long commemoration of liberty when land and possessions went back to the
rightful owners and people who had indentured themselves returned to their own
families.
Liberty to be Proclaimed
And
ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout [all] the
land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye
shall return every man unto his family. - Leviticus 25:10 KJV
What does that remind you of? It reminds me of when Jesus went
into the synagogue and read from Chapter 61 of the Book of Isaiah:
The
Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the
gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach
deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at
liberty them that are bruised,
To
preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
And
he closed the book, and he gave [it] again to the minister, and sat down. And
the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he
began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. -
Luke 4:18-21 KJV
Notice that Jesus did NOT read what followed:
…
the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; - Isaiah 61:2 KJV
To
appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the
oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD,
that he might be glorified. - Isaiah 61:3 KJV
“The day of vengeance” is referring to when Christ
physically returns to earth to set up His Kingdom and war with the Antichrist
and his army. Jesus came as a humble servant and as the SACRIFICIAL LAMB the
first time. But He will come as the reigning KING of Kings at His second coming
and reclaim Jerusalem!
Redemption
Redemption is another key component to the Jubilee as outlined
in Leviticus Chapter 25:
In
the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession. -
Leviticus 25:13 KJV
And
in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land. -
Leviticus 25:24 KJV
This redemption could not be done by just anybody—it had to
be done by a kinsman (Leviticus 25:25). We see this in the story of Ruth when
Naomi seeks to have Boaz marry her daughter-in-law.
There was also an unusual procedure to assure the
continuation of a family in the event of the death of a husband without issue.
If a widow had no son, she could request the next of kin to take her and raise
children to continue the family bloodline.
It is from this background that we understand Naomi’s
opportunity in Ruth Chapter 3. She realizes that Boaz is a kinsman; therefore,
there was an opportunity to regain the family properties lost by her deceased
husband 10 years earlier and also a chance for Ruth to have a new life. khouse.org
Just as Boaz was Naomi’s kinsman, Jesus is the Kinsman
Redeemer for All Mankind.
But
of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and
righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: - 1 Corinthians 1:30 KJV
The Rapture is when The Redeemer takes home those He has ‘paid
for’ with His own life.

Restoration and
Return
…and ye shall return
every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. -
Leviticus 25:10 KJV
Then let him count the
years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he
sold it; that he may return unto his possession. - Leviticus 25:27 KJV
An Israelite who was forced to pay a debt by basically
becoming an indentured servant was to be freed in the Jubilee year and RETURN
HOME TO HIS FAMILY. God’s reasoning for this was because they were HIS SERVANTS
(Leviticus 25:39-42).
What does that remind you of?
We are His servants also, and I believe we will be able to
return to our Heavenly Home at the next Jubilee year!
Rest
But in the seventh
year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou
shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard. - Leviticus 25:4 KJV
A jubile shall that
fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of
itself in it, nor gather [the grapes] in it of thy vine undressed. - Leviticus
25:11 KJV
The Jubilee year was like an extension of the Sabbath Year
and was a time of rest for the people and the land. This reminds us of the Sabbath
rest of 1,000 years that will come to us through the Millennial Reign of our
Messiah King—freedom from the labor and toil as a result of man’s disobedience
to God in the Garden of Eden and the malevolent effects of sin as a result of the
world being “under the sway of the wicked one” (1 John 5:19).
For we which have
believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they
shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation
of the world. - Hebrews 4:3 KJV
There remaineth
therefore a rest to the people of God. - Hebrews 4:9 KJV
And God shall wipe
away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither
sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things
are passed away. - Revelation 21:4 KJV
Assuming the Rapture occurs on the Feast of Trumpets, which
is Tishri 1 on the Hebrew calendar, the Jubilee would be celebrated on the 10th
of the same month coinciding with the Day of Atonement:
Then
shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth [day] of the
seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound
throughout all your land. Leviticus 25:8-9 KJV
In Bible prophecy days can equal years [How
a Day can Equal a Year]. Within the timeframe of the days between the Feast
of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement, a seven-year Tribulation period could
easily fit even taking into account that Rosh Hashanah is a two-day festival.

Jubilee—Mind Boggling!
The year of Jubilee and the Day of Atonement speak of the
fullness of the redemptive plan of God for man:
8. The year of Jubilee was the Day of Atonement
(Leviticus 25:9-11).
Spiritual Application (Halacha). This was a year
and day of liberty. Yeshua came to preach this liberty at His first coming
(Isaiah [Yeshayahu] 61:1-3; Luke 4:17-21). From Adam, it has been almost 6,000
years and 120 Jubilees. The number 120 points to the end of the age of the
flesh and the reign of the life of the spirit (Genesis (Bereishit] 6:3). The ultimate fulfillment of the
year of Jubilee will take place at the second coming of Messiah. The
earth will be redeemed and come into full and complete rest from the curse
brought upon it by Adam's sin. Complete restoration of man's lost inheritance
will take place. God's people will be totally set free -- set at liberty, from
all sin, sickness and disease, death, and the curse. Satan (Ha satan), the
source of all these things, will be bound and true rest will be realized. The
tabernacle of God will be with men and He will dwell with them (Revelation
21:1-4). So, the year of Jubilee and the day of
Atonement speak of the fullness of the redemptive plan of God for man. hebroots.org
The significance of
the 120th Jubilee is mind boggling!
This Law of Jubilee is the law that Jesus came to
perform perfectly. Jesus had to come as
a “man” in order to be our “relative” which gave Him the right to redeem us
according to the Law of Jubilee! We are
His brethren!...
By the same law, Jesus also will redeem ALL from
the final and ultimate enemy - death - for death does not hold the right of
redemption and has no choice but to turn every captive loose at Jesus Christ’s
demand. goodnewsaboutgod.com
My little children, these things write I
unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the
Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and
not for ours only, but also for [the sins of] the whole world. 1 John 2:1-2 KJV
All creation is
waiting for that day as described in
Romans Chapter 8:
For the earnest expectation of the creature
waiteth for the manifestation [apokalypsis=used of events by which things or states or persons
hitherto withdrawn from view are made visible to all-blb] of the sons of God.
For we know that the whole creation groaneth
and travaileth in pain together until now.
And not only [they], but ourselves also,
which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even
we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting
for the adoption, [to wit], the redemption
of our body. Romans 8:18, 22-23 KJV
Not only do we who
believe on Christ await The Day of Redemption, but ALL of creation awaits it as
well for the Law of Jubilee mandates the setting free of ALL Creation.
Hallelujah! How glorious will be that day! Come Lord Jesus!
Caveat: I do not necessarily agree with all the beliefs of anyone whose material I reference. I seek to be led of the Spirit of God as to the sources I use, however, even Spirit-filled Christians only 'see in part' as it says in 1 Corinthians 13:12.
